Learn how to stop your dog being aggressive with these simple training tips
I love dogs and being able to help people create a stronger connection with their pet is my favourite part of the job. Puppy training can be particularly rewarding as well!
I can offer everything from house training a puppy to teaching an adult how to complete an agility course in competition. I specialise in commands and being able to instruct owners on how to handle their pup, as well as teaching them how to better understand their dog. One of the more specialist aspects I train on is separation anxiety.
I believe I offer a great range, including home visits, group sessions, and private one-to-one instructor classes. I’m also happy meeting in a suitable public place such as a dog park. Working with you and your dog, we’ll create a routine that works perfectly.
I have earned qualifications from: the Kennel Club Accredited Instructors, Level 3 CPD Accredited Dog Training, Diploma in Dog Training, and more. I’ve also attended dozens of seminars hosted by leading trainers/behaviourists. I’m a full member of the Guild of Dog Trainers and the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.

Emma is awesome with our chocolate lab. She is very patient and consistent with my puppy, Tequila. Tequila loves Emma and the places they visited.

After calling several trainers who would not take my dog, Risa did! My 4 yo German shepherd was not a fan of strangers, noises and especially other dogs - even on tv. Until Risa. He has good leash manners and I don’t have to turn the other way when I see another dog heading our way. We can invite new people into our house and I can finally watch shows that have animals without him rushing and jumping up to the tv! Risa gave us regular updates and pictures. She was very thorough and has been great with all my follow up questions. She was the perfect trainer for my dog! He’s well behaved, yet still his sweet goofy self!

Rich did a great job training our 3 year old dog, Jaxon! He was patient yet strict with setting boundaries which made the transition home easier. Although no dog training is a magic wand, Rich equipped both myself and Jaxon with the tools to continuously work on training and obedience. He is still the same goofy and loving dog, just with more respect and understanding!
