Their Customer Service did what I learned while I worked in Customer Service. Zipbooks took a customer who was having issues and turned it into an opportunity to make them a fan of their business. Initially I had a few issues with a hold on my information which could have taken longer for me to recieve funds from my customer. The chat reps were a little slow at getting back with me initially, but after I started speaking with Tim, the turn around time changed. It is really hard to find someone to call, but I guess that's becuase it's a special feature of some of their higher plans. Anyway, after getting the issue resolved Zipbooks was able to turn me into a happy customer. I am hoping future payments will not take as long as this one did, but that is standard until my account begins to be used more frequently. This app and website are the perfect combination for someone who wants to be able to run a small biz, effectively, accurately, and with confidence that the program will do what it needs to. Running a small business, I am not ready for or able to afford an accountant or fancy accounting software. I tried out ZipBooks for free to see if it would meet my needs. So far, I feel good about my decision. I can send invoices, customers can pay online with a credit card, and the transaction fees aren't outrageous. I am slightly disappointed that my bank account cannot be linked to the software (I bank with a credit union, so that might explain it), but I do not make so many transactions that it is a bother to manually enter them into ZipBooks. I know there are also reports I could be using for my business, but they are less intuitive than I feel the should be. I think I just need to get in there and try to work with them more. All in all, I think ZipBooks is an excellent option for someone who is looking for a place to put financial information and be able to see how their business is doing. Customer Service is not so fast that it is creepy, but they are able to see my account and so can help troubleshoot issues I might be having. Great team at ZipBooks. Check them out. More...

*Revised* I had an issue importing transactions. Jaren reached out to help and suggested I split my import file. In my case I had 927 transactions to import. Splitting the file in half solved the problem. I appreciate the effort to solve my issue so I can continue using ZipBooks. :-) After spending more time with it, I'll update my rating again! More...

I was searching for an easy, inexpensive, professional and trusted online tool for sending invoice and collecting payments for my business and my wife's business. After finding several options, ZipBooks became the OBVIOUS choice, and I am extremely happy I chose it. It works exactly as they promise, offers even more than I thought, and if/when you have any question or issue, the Chat feature is right there - and they get back to you within a day!! Right now I'm at the point where I'm just using the FREE version, but if I need to upgrade they offer affordable options for that too. Zipbooks is the best and easiest accounting software available out there. I know this because I free tried them all. They differentiate themselves by the ease of use and the app that is above and beyond user-friendly. I can't even remember how I found Zipbooks in the first place, but I am very glad I did. I have found them to be VERY responsive to my questions, and this latest upgrade has some excellent features that make my life as a book midwife/self-publishing consultant so much easier. Super-friendly, helpful and responsive staff you can easily connect via chat. Zipbooks works great for my accounting, time tracking and invoicing needs; it is powerful and fast, easy to access via browser (better than the app). 100% satisfied customer!!! Love this program! Any size business can benefit from this program. Extremely easy to use! I switched from Quickbooks and Go Daddy Bookkeeping to Zipbooks. This program is a god send. What makes this program even better is all the support you get in the bookkeeping world. I have been using them for about a year. They are incredibly responsive and actually come up with solutions for you when you hit a wall (Yes, even on a free account! ). I have used their competitors and it's a constant state of upselling and half answers. This service is extremely simple for a small business but can scale with your company.
