I'm an event planner and had the pleasure of doing a cake tasting with Yumi. Her cakes are outstanding! Not only are they visually impressive, but the taste is incredible. Yumi's cake was delicious. At first I had gone with another baker for my wedding, but decided that she was not the one I really wanted so I cancelled and called Yumi.
My sister, the owner of Molle Bridals recommended Yumi to me. Yumi came to my home to go over exactly how I would like my special cake. She was very tentative to my requests of how I wanted it. I had a pretty precise idea. She brought over samples and offered many options. Before she left, I had already made up my mind to go with her.
My cake was special indeed. We chose 3 different flavored tiers. Yumi wanted to make it extra exquisite, so she recommended having our second layer with lace on outside to match my dress, as I wanted the rest of the tiers in rosette silk icing. The cake was fabulous! My guests loved it. Me and the hubby are very satisfied we went with Yumi. In fact, we want another mini one here soon. Our wedding cake was so tasty, it was all gone shortly after wedding. The size was exact for my guest count. Yumi does an excellent job and delivers pronto.
Word of advice to brides: pay the extra money to get your cake exactly the way you want it. You only buy 1 wedding cake. �
