What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Photography is a subjective thing. A great photograph is the one you like! That is why it is important to get to know your customer and what they are looking for. Needless to say but you need to learn the skills necessary to provide the customer what they are looking for. Taking great photographs is not an end result. It is constant journey of improvement and inspiration. One of the things I like to do is find something someone else has done that I like and try and replicate it. This journey teaches me a lot of skills that I can use later one to make something genuine and unique.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
We cover many times of photography styles but what matters most is the type of photography you as the customer desire. When working with a client we want to get to know you and the style of photography you want. Before we even take the first picture, we want to hear from you personally about your preferences. From there, we typically set up mood boards for you post examples in addition to what we have in our portfolio as examples. This way we are all prepared ahead of time when the day of the shoot arrives.
What do you love most about your job?
Being creative, learning new skills, and most importantly the journey through it all!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I got started into photography when my daughter was first born. What started as a hobby by taking as many pictures of her growing up as I could soon bloomed into something more, which is why I started Wren Fowler Photography.

I've been into photography since my first child was born. For me it was a way to preserve memories that I literally could go back and see with my own eyes again. It is with this principle that I take photographs for others. With my experience, I take what you envision your photographs of being and create something you will want to keep and share. When you hire us, we will first get to know you and understand what specifics you are looking for in your photographs. It is important that we clearly understand what you want! We will also share with you any ideas and tips we may have too. Whether you know specifically what you want or simply have a general idea, we are here to help you get some amazing photographs.
