White As A Feather came and completely turned my house around. After falling into depression I was unable to bring myself to even get out of bed for months at a time, I had to drag myself around just to shower. After getting better and taking my meds on a regular basis I decided to get help with the house since it was no longer a one person job. They came and totally revived my home, I honestly don't think I ever knew what clean was until White As A Feather came and cleaned. My house smells great and I can actually move around my house comfortably now. I believe the negative comments are people who are just upset but have no real reason to be. Lamaya and Joshua are very accommodating, hard working, and their politeness is what I feel is missing alot of businesses. I've already booked my next appointment with them. I must admit when I read the comments about White As A Feather I was VERY skeptical to hire them on to clean my home. I can say I was pleasantly surprised! Not only were their prices fair enough to where I can place then I'm my monthly budget, but the work was OUTSTANDING. I truly believe they are a great company and will go above and beyond to ensure that you are truly satisfied with your cleaning. I did not have the experience I was worried about, they were AMAZING! My home smells fresh, all my appliances are sparkling, and I can't get enough of how clean my bathroom is (it was pretty gross beforehand).

They were very nice and did a good job cleaning. I booked five appointments with them and they were 60 to 90 minutes late for each one, promising the next one would be on time. They showed up once with an extra adult, once with a teenager, and once with a child. The final appointment they didn't show up at all and wanted me to reschedule according to their work needs. They tried charging my credit card a month in advance, which is unheard of, and when I complained they insisted on charging it a week in advance. When I terminated their services I gave them 5 business days to return my keys to the apartment management. They never returned the keys so I had to change the locks, they ignored my many phone calls, they made no response to my voicemail messages and ignored numerous text messages. More...

Hi Charles, we are sorry you are unhappy about the cancellation of our services. Although we were only late once, as far as your keys they had been mailed to you. As far as being charged in advance we only ever charged a week ahead of time which was ALWAYS authorized by you beforehand, we do this to guarantee you will show for your appointment and our time won't be wasted. There have been times where cancellations happened and we could've given the appointment to another client. We never brought a child or teenager to clean your home, we've only ever brought our cleaning crew which consists of 4 adults. We are sorry we were unable to get back to you via telephone we have been extremely busy. We appreciate your business and all the support you have given us ! Where do I begin. This has to be the worst cleaning service I have ever experienced. First, they cancelled my original appointment after it was confirmed and I payed half of the total cleaning ($75). I wanted to give them another chance so I booked for two days later. I received a confirmation email and the next day 1 hour before they were supposed to arrive, I get a text for another cancellation. I was told that she does not have a babysitter and she can only come if she brings her child. I agreed because this would have been the second time they would have cancelled and at this point I was concerned that I could not trust them to even give me my deposit back. They arrived 45 minutes late. I requested a deep cleaning, which consisted of the inside of the fridge and the baseboards in addition to wiping the walls down and a regular cleaning. I payed an additional charge for this service. They rushed through cleaning, did not do any floorboards, none of the mirrors were cleaned in my bedroom, no spot cleaning was done on any walls, my floors and carpet still had dog hair on them, I still had dust on my fan. I think you get the point. They literally said, ok we are done, with only cleaning for two hours?! I came to look in the living room and my sliding glass door was not even cleaned!? All their cleaning supplies were already in the car. Her partner/husband had to run outside to get Windex to do my window. I was offered no walk through and I left them a $50 tip. ( I know totally my fault for being to nice). I did a walk through after they left and found what a terrible job they did. I had requested only on closet floor be organized and they didn't even do that. I was charged $150 for a deep cleaning and was not offered my deposit back or anything. A deep cleaning for two bedrooms and one bathroom and I only got two hours of work from them. She offered another cleaning at a discounted rate..... Hi Michele, we are so sorry you aren't satisfied with your service. However, when the original appointment was rescheduled we offered you a FULL refund of your deposit because we understood it was an issue on our end, you agreed to the reschedule with no problem, we never forced it on you. On the day of the new appointment I explained the situation and AGAIN offered you FULL refund of your deposit, you called and said you still want us to come although you were notified that we would be behind. We cleaned the spots on the walls as well as the cobwebs and dust that were hanging all over them. We also cleaned all the mirrors in your bedroom and bathroom, in addition to cleaning the floorboards by hand with soap, water, and disinfectant. They were extremely stained almost like they had never been cleaned before. Once you pointed out the sliding door glass needed to be wiped down again in the living room, he went to get a fresh bottle Windex out of the car because the other was empty. When there is heavy smoking in the home along with no ventilation, dust and dander return faster than it would in any other home because the smoke makes the walls sweat, which in turn causes them to become sticky. Also the floors looked like they had not been cleaned for a while, I say this because there were piles of hair about the size of a small dog coming from each area of the home. This may have occured because you have 2 cats 1 dog and 2 humans living in the home without someone routinely cleaning the floors, which is understandable when you are super busy with work like you stated. When animals run around throughout the home that causes more hair to get into the air and stick to the sweating walls, as well as fall back onto the floor. As far as the area rugs in the home, we used a specific vacuum for pet hair, however the hair was caked into the rugs, we recommend purchasing new ones. After cleaning your home for 3.5 hours, you did a complete walkthrough of the home while I was in the living room mopping BEFORE you paid the remaining balance. You said you loved it and that you were glad to sit in a nice and clean home, you even tipped us because of how happy you were. 4-5 hours later you text saying you were upset we didn't organize the closet and put your shoe rack in the organized space, although that was not included in the rate we discussed, neither was the cleaning of your personal fan in your bedroom (ceiling fan is included). In order to try to mend the relationship we offered a discount on your next appointment, and recommended it be earlier in the day to make sure ALL of your requests would be fully satisfied, and you threatened our business. I apologize again that you weren't satisfied with your service, we loved the opportunity to work with you and hope you find a service you are truly happy with.

They work together as a formidable team. I recommend them for your maintenance needs.
