We began a relationship with Velmie, previously known as iKantam, a few years ago.
Initially they were pretty responsive and attentive.
However, over the past several months they became increasingly difficult to engage, in spite of having a paid annual support agreement with them.
We even tried to get a minimal amount of help to transition to a new vendor. No response to emails and messages.
Most critically, the issue arose in the midst of several deadlines imposed on us by Facebook and LinkedIn. In spite of being specifically alerted to our urgent need, we got no assistance.
We have moved on, and are trying to calculate how many clients were lost due to inadequate support.
In thirty years of running various businesses, I can't recall such an unprofessional and abrupt ending to a long-term relationship.
If they had simply requested we find a new vendor and helped us move on, all the theatrics could have been avoided.
Also, If you're considering them, you should also know this U.S. address is not their office. The actual staff are based in Minsk, Belarus.
Definitely not recommended.
