We are an all-from-scratch bake shop located on Spokane's South Hill. Our specialty is Super Crumble Coffee Cake that we sell by the slice or the whole cake. We also offer fresh breads in a regular size loaf and mini size loaves and delicious cupcakes frosted with Swiss Meringue Buttercream, in mini and regular sizes.

Best peanut butter cupcake ever!! Normally I find the frosting to be too sweet it hurts my teeth at other places, but not at Twenty-Seventh Heaven! The cupcake had the perfect amount of density, with a punch of real peanut butter flavor, the frosting was light, with the perfect amount of sweetness without over powering the cupcake. They have fresh bread and good coffee cakes. The coffee cake crumble was a bit too sweet for me! But that’s just me! They are known for their coffee-cakes. As far as coffee goes, they only serve drip coffee but you can add sugar or creamer. Staff are amazing, kind and helpful. Also There is a great view to the Cathedral church. More...

I came here and got the matcha cupcake, because I've heard good things about matcha. This is the first time I've ever had a cupcake where I preferred the cake by itself. Don't get me wrong, the frosting was great, but the cake itself was earthy and sweet without being overpowering, and left me wanting more after I finished it. And they're very reasonable priced! *EDIT* We came back and got more goodies, and a word of advice: get a punch card! Trust me, you'll want to go back again and again! The BEST bread! It's the star of the shop in my opinion. Buy a mini loaf and good luck not eating the whole thing in your car. We bought a full size loaf (very worth the price) and brought it on a ski trip. We toasted up slices with good butter and fruit on the side for 2-3 breakfasts. Such a good meal. This is the kind of bread you want when you don't eat a lot and want the best, to impress company or just like intentional quality ingredients. What a peaceful and pleasant place! The treats are not only delicious, but they are the RIGHT SIZE! I can get a whole cookie, bagel or cupcake and not feel like a bloated pastry monster after. She even crafted us an adorable two-tier wedding mini-cake for my husband and I to cut.
