Best decision we ever made! We have a 5 month old female GSD. I was at my breaking point- the biting, the jumping up, the barking…did I mention the biting? ! Ray boarded and trained Athena and the results are phenomenal! He was able to teach us how to communicate properly to Athena. It’s like we have a completely different dog! I love that he sent videos through the boarding time so we could see Athena’s progress. I met with a few other trainers and I felt they had more rapport with animals than people. Ray is very personable, down to earth and really listens to what you would like to accomplish through training. I cannot recommend Transform Your Dog enough!!! Thank you Ray!!!! More...

What do you love most about your job?
Being able to show clients how dogs really think, how they learn and how Human's emotions play a huge role in how they dogs see them. Many of my clients come to me, confused and frustrated and I am able to relieve so much tense from the families. Its a wonderful feeling knowing that all my clients are able to enjoy their dogs and finally go places without an issues.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My first dog was pretty untrained and she was food aggressive. When Cesar Milian's show came out, it helped me learn more about my relationship with her and how she related to the family. Eventually I began helping my while family and their dogs and I realized I was great at it. The whole experience helped me a lot emotional and spiritually so I kept going.
Why should our clients choose you?
I work with real-world situation and provide true insight to your dog's thinking and perspective. I have been called the NJ Dog whisperer by many of my clients because I teach my clients about how energy and emotions play a huge role in your dogs development. We also provide holiday boarding for any and all loyal clients who do not like the idea of their dogs in a kennel all day.

We can provide Video chat if needed. We understand that in most areas there are not many trainer that go above a beyond for their clients.
In-home Adult Dog Training
Five (5) customized individual lessons utilizing a balance of positive and aversive reinforcement. We train the obedience in the commands: “Come” , “Sit” , “Down” , “Heel” , “Stand” , “Place” , “Off”, “Leave it” , “Drop it” , Distance “Sit” and “down” as well as hand signals and some tricks. If safe, we work towards off leash training as well. This is all done in the comfort of your home and allows the trainer to address any behavioral issues experienced in the home.

Puppy In- Home lesson
4 private one on one lessons to teach you all you need to know about your brand new puppy and how to teach it basic commands of come, sit, down and heel as well as answer questions regarding food, socialization, potty training, etc.

Basic 1 week Board and Train
Your dog will come live in our home for 1 WEEK and be trained to know the commands listed and then we return them and teach you how to maintain their level of obedience. includes e-collar training

Advanced 2 week Board and Train
Your dog will come live in our home for 2 WEEKS and be trained to know the commands and then we return them and teach you how to maintain their level of obedience.

2 week Board and Train Puppy & Adult
Overnight stay focus on basic and advanced obedience such as public and social manners, Walking, crate training, separation anxiety, door manners, child safety, off-leash and more. Includes New training collar, e-collar, 20ft leash and Follow-up coaching sessions.
