In one word: AWESOME! I had to be in town for 3 days of conferences and needed somewhere for my dog Blue to hang out during the day. I was able to get her paperwork submitted and approved via email. Dogtown is just a few minutes from the group of hotels where the conference was being held (Baxter/N 7th) and I was easily able to drop her off in the morning and make it back with plenty of time to spare. Dogtown provided a priceless opportunity for my dog (who hasn't had much socialization) to be closely and constantly monitored by trained staff while interacting with a large group of well socialized dogs. Watching the webcams gave me great comfort and a new found confidence that my dog can indeed be around other dogs without having problems; something I was too nervous to attempt due to the affect that my own anxiety would have on their interactions. Another unfounded worry I had was that my dog would end the day smelling like she had been in a kennel - this was another unfounded fear - the staff immediately cleans up any messes (as seen on the webcams - inside and outdoors) and my dog smelled just like she does after a day at the office. Our lab puppy loves Dogtown! If we take Kenzie there she starts shaking when we pull into the driveway because she is so excited about playing with all her doggie friends. The people that work there are great and they all love dogs. We can't leave Kenzie by herself yet in our home so Dogtown is a great option for when everyone in my family has plans at the same time. Kenzie has fun running around all day, we get to enjoy some time out, and then we experience a quiet night at home with an exhausted puppy who is too tired to do anything but sleep.
