I've worked in a multitude of kitchens, in a variety of states and countries. I ran my own baking business and worked at Grazie in Scottsdale. I then moved to Binkley's in downtown Phoenix, which was my home for 3 1/2 yrs, and during that time I was also exposed to many culinary opportunities - Bink's Midtown, Akibane in Japan, Alinea in Chicago, Nobuo at Teeter House in Phoenix, and many more.

I’ve worked with Aspen several times and each time has gone fantastically. I’ve hired her for catering as well as connected her with other cooks looking for more staff and have never had a complaint. Aspens food is some of the best I have ever had, she works with you to sort out a menu to fit your tastes and is very conscious of any allergies or food sensitives you may have. I have several food allergies and she is very careful not to cross contaminate while cooking. My family consists of professional chefs and pastry chefs and she is easily the best chef any of us have worked with. She is very respectful, responsible and is an incredibly sweet person. Aspen was so freaking awesome! She not only made us a custom menu, but worked with our budget, and let us have a tasting before hand! On time, very sweet, and well spoken. She brought everything we would need and the kids (as well as the adults) loved the desserts of course. My son ate ALL his roasted vegetables, I was in shock. How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
I love to get to know my clients, ask about any health concerns or allergies, and get more info regarding the event. After that, I'll draft up a menu that I think would be perfect for that specific event and accommodate foods for the season and the pallets of the hosts and guests.
What do you love most about your job?
I love creating, it's my type of art and brings me absolute euphoria. It's my escape into a new world of endless possibilities and food science. I love that my food feeds my happiness and those who consume it. Being able to bring fulfillment and joy with this talent I am blessed with is quite literally one of the best things I could have ever received, and it aligns perfectly with my life goals and values.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My grandfather on my mom's side was an entrepreneur and my dad's grandmother owned her restaurant. So I guess you could say it was almost innate in me. I've been in the kitchen since I was 4, and then I opened my first baking business "J.T.T." at 8 yrs old.
Why should our clients choose you?
Quality comes first, being a chef isn't my job/career, it's my passion. I'm not here to upcharge and sell you on this crazy tax called "experience", I'm here to bring amazing foods and experiences to those who want them, regardless of their budget, I think everyone deserves tasty, fresh, homemade, heartwarming, belly-filling food, and I'm more than happy to provide it.

If you would like to learn how to cook and/or bake, so you don't always have to hire a certain someone like myself. I will be launching online classes on YouTube and Patreon in the near future. From the basics to the Chef's Table, you'll be able to learn it all. I even have a blog where I share kitchen secrets, recipes, and the perfect foods for specified events, so keep a lookout!
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I wear a mask- however, I've always run an extremely sanitized cooking environment. Pet-free, child-free, sanitized equipment, gloves, I have my food handler's card, so I'm knowledgeable of all food safety precautions, have worked in a multitude of kitchens, so I know what to do and what not to do.

Meal Prep
My meal prep services are different from Hello Fresh. They are precooked meals, that are made from scratch, that you can grab, go, and warm up when needed.
I do offer meals for different diets or ways of living, I am open to editing my preset meals, so just let me know, and I will see what I can do. Editing of the menu is not guaranteed, but it is available for certain items/needs; substitutes, allergies, preferences, etc.
