I've been going to a barber for over 30 years ,then i decided last year i wanted more than just a simple haircut. That's when i decided to explore and i met the wonderful Ylenia the hairstylist ,she is incredible,she meticulously cuts my hair. Incredibly beautiful salon with an amazing staff! I was here for an event and got to meet Joel he was so wonderful, a true master of his craft! Ricki did my color cute shes super sweet and talented. I am so in love with The Salon Project!! Everything from the service, the location and the staff is A1. I get my hair styled by Tom who has been doing my hair for years and he is the absolute best. I appreciate that he is not scissor happy and listens to exactly what I need. My hair is always full of volume and absolutely gorgeous when he does it. I had a great experience in the Salon. The place looks very nice and the staff is so friendly. I go to Rhiccia (Ricky), she is so good with curly hair. I have A LOT of thick curly hair, that is at times hard to handle, but she is so good with it. I loved my blow out, and got so much positive feedback from my friends and family. 100% recommend. Best color I’ve ever gotten!! Recently visited the salon project and had my hair cut and colored by Rhiccia (Ricky). My hair has always pulled red after being colored in the past so I didn’t have super high expectations. Let’s just say I was blown away, Ricky did the most beautiful brunette balayage on me and the color has stayed rich deep brown (a month later and still no red!) I had my color done today by ricki she is amazing!!! I have very dark hair and it is difficult to get it light My bayalage looks awesome, she is patient, knowledgeable . I am so pleased that The Salon Project by Joel Warren is in Saks Fifth Ave. in Huntington ,N.Y. As soon as you come in the receptionist and staff are professional, warm and welcoming. I have been coming to the salon since it first opened a year ago and my hair is healthier and growing, due to my amazing Stylist Tan. She is great and has done wonders for my hair. It"s a pleasure to have her maintaining my hair. I would recommend her to anybody who wants a excellent hair styling experience. I can't say enough good things about her. I happened to walk into Joel Warren’s salon at saks (Walt Whitman mall) looking for a change, but I wasn’t sure what I looking for. I found Joel! He envisioned me as cool and confident, with amazing hair and sass. I wanted “easy”. I’m glad I came into Warren’s salon and took a risk with my beauty routine. The staff is friendly and put any concerns at ease. My makeover was discounted and I felt pampered :) Makeup application and consultation included : BONUS. My hairstylist Tom and makeup artist Christy worked amazing magic. Best salon I’ve been to on years. New favorite hair dressser is Ricky (Rhiccia). She knows how to work with my short hair whether I wanted a bob or my latest pixie cut, she did an amazing job in both making me look great! She also did balayage on my hair the first time I went. I began coming to this salon when my hairstylist Meghan began working there. I’m a loyal client of hers and followed her to the salon. She has been cutting my hair for years and there has never been a hairstylist anywhere who was able to cut and style my hair as well as she does. From the first time I came to the salon, everything about this place made it a wonderful experience. The staff is extremely friendly and make you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. They offer many services. Not only is this a beautifully designed salon, but it employs an exceptionally qualified and creative staff in all areas. I’ve even had the opportunity to meet the owner, as he came over and introduced himself to me while my hair was being cut. Having long, thick, wavy/curly hair that will frizz in humidity can be a challenge for many. Meghan is truly an outstanding, excrptionally talented hairstylist. There is no one I trust more with my hair than her. The cut she gives me resembles the long, wavy, full of body hair you see on commercials advertising hair products. Wherever I go, complete strangers will compliment my hair. I always credit Meghan as a gifted hairstylist who can cut with precision and style hair like those working in such capacity in the entertainment industry. Wow!!!!! The salon is beautiful, the environment is warm and modern. I had my haircut by Leonard who is beyond talented. He’s been in the industry for years and has worked with models and celebs abroad...... Leonard consulted with me prior to offering his professional opinion. I agreed to his suggestion because I knew from the moment we spoke I could trust his expertise. I’ve never received so many compliments on my hair thanks to Leonard. I then had my color done by Deb, she is sweet and really listened to my concerns. The color was absolutely perfect. Meaghan did my Brazilian Blowout because my hair is fine and frizzy and I’ve never had a better Keratin treatment, it’s been over three months and my hair is still frizz free. My hair was a mess prior to going to Salon Project. I have been going all over the Island for hair cuts and color. At first they color and cut my hair and it looks and feels great and then the hair cut is sloppy and the color is never consistant. My hair always felt so dry and damaged. I finaly tried Salon Project which was highly recommended by my friends and family. I went to Tom to get my hair cut it was the best hair cut I have ever received. I also get my hair colored by Frankie. He knew exactly the color to use. My hair has never looked or felt so healthy! The staff was very attentive and friendly asking if you would like anything to drink. The experience was amazing. I have gone a few times over the year and my hair grew out healthy and the dryness is all gone. I can not say enough about My hairstylist and Colorist.
