This store is Amazing!!!! And to all u crazy people out there leaving these post about theses poor puppies should be ashamed of yourself. You don't care about a cow that gets its throat slit and hung by one leg crying for over an hour as it bleeds out so you can eat it but u worry about puppies that are in nice clean cribs with playmates waiting to get a nice home. We had the best experience, the staff was great and they stayed late in order for us to take our puppy that day. I had questions and concerns that I asked and they answered eagerly and honestly. My fiancé and I have been going to the Pawfect Puppy since it opened. We have a two and a half year old that absolutely loves visiting the puppies there. The owners have always been so nice and helpful, along with the staff. We've recently adopted a little Frenchie that fits perfectly with our family. Just thought I would put my two cents on here. I have seen a lot of bad press recently regarding this store. My wife and I purchased a Havanese puppy here about a year and a half ago. He has been a joy and perfectly healthy. My wife is allergic to dog hair. So we knew we needed something hypoallergenic. We looked around at shelters but rarely found anything that didn't shed. Shelters are a great place to start your search, but some people have specific needs. There are puppy mills out there that operate extremely shady. We got the puppies record and vaccination history along with the breeder's name and number in case of concerns. If we could have a regular dog without worry of allergies we would always choose a shelter first. Choosing a dog is different for everyone. I would say though the staff needs to be trained specifically in customer service. We came in to visit after purchasing our dog a couple months after and were treated as ghosts. I've lived in the Franklin area my whole life and I know there is a sense of snobby that comes with it. You need to treat everyone as if they are buying a puppy that day. You never know what great owners you could be turning away based just off appearance. More...

We bought a beagle from the Pawfect puppy and she is amazing. the quality of breeding would be hard to match. I keep seeing comments about the owners not allowing customers to pick up the dogs. the reason for this is because you can bring in all kinds of bacteria on your hands from the outside world and transmit it to one of the puppies with a fragile immune system. You do not have to physically handle one of the dogs to know its the one you would like. (remind yourself that it is for the best) also if you expect a Puppy nursery to be clean then you should not own a dog at all. of course there is going to be excrement everywhere. You have over 12 puppy's at a time in a full day. What if you had 12 human babies without diapers on in their crib? there is going to be pee and poo. We recently purchased a Havanese puppy from the Pawfect Puppy, and I must say, this was the BEST and easiest puppy buying experience I have ever had or heard of having. I feel the need to address some of the other more negative reviews, so this may be lengthy.The place smelled great and was very clean. If you are there to seriously consider buying a puppy, you will be able to hold and pet the animals. Some other reviewers have expressed dissatisfaction with the organization and cleanliness of the establishment, which speaks volumes to me.These puppies ARE NOT puppy mill animals. We received a Pedigree report that goes back 4 generations. I have the names of our puppy’s great-GREAT grandparents on both sides.The owner was polite and knowledgeable, and took the time to explain our puppy’s previous medical care and answered any questions we had. The staff was very attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly.During our post-purchase health check, our vet expressed how impressed she was with the records and health care our puppy had received from Pawfect Puppy. The only exception that I had was with the German Shepherd, Zeus (he was friendly, but peed on my wife). Wow. We have not owned a dog before but we were looking for a zuchon. We tried breeders but there were none within middle TN we could get in touch with. We tried for about a year. Finally we went in here and I found a puppy I was drawn to and loved at first sight. We were worried of owning a puppy but the lady working here was wonderful kind and attentive to answering all our questions. We found the environment clean and the puppies happy. Yes it's a but pricey but so worth it. Our puppy is home and we had him to the vet and his health is great! He is a good puppy and we love him! I'm not sure about the negative reviews because we had all positive. The Man who sold us the puppy seemed to know a lot about animals and gave us a ton of information. Well today I bought another puppy from John for my son. It is going to be trained for a service dog for him. We love loveJohn and his family we go visit often. I understand some people dont unstained why they can't just play with the puppies but they are not toys. IF you make them SICK and i purchase them and it happens after my warranty I'm out of lucks thanks to you. i mean you don't go to a hospital expecting to play the newborns in the nursery do you. NO thats stupid right. Well you all have to realize what he has invested and he can't just let you play around with them and make them sick if you don't plan on purchasing them.. Sorry truth hurts.My experience was awesome. The staff is very friendly and helpful. So many different breeds to choose from and from the best quality. Best place for someone to go if they are not sure of what breed they may want. And I promise you will find that perfect little lick that will melt ur heart. The owner John is the greatest always willing to help in any way possible. Not to mention the vet she is so sweet and great to. This place is very cool but when I took my two girls to the store to look at these adorable puppies the two owners were extremely nice to them, but the two girl employees were extremely rude to them. They would say that we weren't allowed to hold any puppies here at all and when my daughter went up to one lady and said "may we hold any puppies here?" And the young lady simply stared at here then walked away mumbling to herself. The two young ladies were constantly staring them down every time they held a puppy and were also pointing at them. And the only way the girls were able to get a puppy/ hold one they would have to ask one of the two store owners which were very more respectful towards them. And what made me even more mad was when we were very interested in one puppy we asked to hold it and the same rude young lady said sorry this puppy can't be held then picked up the puppy and held it for herself. This place is wonderful! I'm so happy with my puppy. He is so well behaved everywhere we go. The owners asked me to leave him at the store for 5 days because they wanted to make sure he was 100% healthy and I really appreciated how much they cared about their dogs. I couldn't be happier!
