We cannot thank Kelli and The Lake House Staff enough for all of their work in making our wedding day so special! Our day was everything we could have dreamed it would be and more. Kelli was a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process. While we were planning our wedding from out of state, Kelli was extremely accommodating, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Our two bridal attendants checked in with us throughout the day to make sure we had everything we needed. The venue is beautiful and was extremely cozy for our November wedding. The food was absolutely incredible. Our guests were extremely impressed with the selection variety. Some favorites included mini lobster rolls and mini reubens! Our bridal attendants brought out trays of hors d’oeuvres for us all to enjoy while we took pictures outside during cocktail hour. Dinners were delicious! Many of our guests said it was the best food that they’ve had at a wedding. At the end of the night, Kelli and her staff had all of our cars ready and packed with all of our decorations and flowers. Our daughter had a wonderful wedding at the Lake House. After a bit of stress about the actual opening of the venue, we had a great experience here. The food was incredible. So many compliments on the appetizers especially. Passed appetizers, but there was always someone waiting to offer them to you! Great variety. We had three choices for dinner and all were delicious. The waitstaff is a bit inexperienced, but that will surely improve with each event. The setting is beautiful, the people are nice, and I expect this will be a premiere wedding spot for years to come. Kelli was the first vendor I spoke with at the CT Bridal Expo in January 2018. Immediately, I was impressed with the layout of the venue (the blueprints were displayed), array of options, and beautiful scenic photos of the property. I went through the entire expo and decided to go back to speak with her again. Although my now husband wasn't there I knew he would love it just as much as I did. When I got home I couldn't stop talking about how much I wanted to go visit. Within the week we had an appointment to visit The Lake House. Needless to say we chose to host our wedding, on May 26, at TLH. Everything was supurb! From the wine in the bridal suites when we arrived, to the stunning outdoor ceremony, and of course the outstanding food (which was all the rave amongst guests). The owners of TLH made the entire process simple and enjoyable. Our wedding day was flawless. We couldn't have asked for anything more.
