What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Connection.
The photographer must show some sort of connection with the person on the other side of the camera.
That is why a genuine love of people is far more important than a knowledge of F-stops.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Where and when. How far they can walk. How comfortable they are outdoors. Whether they are ready for the elements.
What do you love most about your job?
Meeting people from around the world that have heard of me as one of the premier photographers at lake Tahoe, or who have read my books.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have been working at weddings and landscape photography for many years, and when a downsizing left me in the lurch years ago, it was time to take it full-time.
Why should our clients choose you?
I know the Tahoe area better than almost anyone, my photos are constantly published in books and magazines, and seen on the news. I provide a service that is fun, positive, uplifting and yields excellent results!

no, I can't really take photos online. We can choose the photos via zoom, so that you can decide which to use for LinkedIn or prints or magazines- whatever your goal is.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I did not have to make many changes, really. I work outside at a safe distance already. Now I am vaccinated, of course, and wash my hands a lot, but really, I was pretty safe already!
