Highly recommend Cody and his business. He is an honest person of high integrity. We had an issue with the rescue dog we had adopted, she had developed aggresiveness toward our 2 children after about a month of having her, which was escalating. We had been trying to correct it ourselves for 2 months unsuccessfully, before contacting Cody. He spent 1 hour at our home for a free evaluation and we decided to try the training route with her to see if it could be fixed. When he returned back for the 1st training session, he had an honest discussion with us that she might not be trainable for her problem. That both our family and the dog may be better off with rehoming. He spent another hour with us, free of charge and refused any payment. It's not too often these days that you run into a situation like this, where someone is trying to help you, out of the goodness of their heart. He understands dogs and he understands people. I would not hesitate to use him for a future dog, that will be a better fit for our family. Our situation may not have ended up what we had originally hoped for, but this trainer gave us realistic expectations and has saved us from even more heartache and possibly worse in the future. What do you love most about your job?
I love seeing the relationship between a dog and its humans blossom! When the lightbulbs go off in my client's and they get excited to continue working with their dog to create and maintain a healthy, balanced relationship with their dog!
What inspired you to start your own business?
After my position was cut from the shelter I was supporting, I decided to form my own business and bank on myself. It has been the best decision in my life so far (with the exception of marrying my wife, who has a huge support role in helping my business run smoothly!)
Why should our clients choose you?
I am an honest and realistic person, unafraid of telling the truth. No matter how much it may not want to be heard. With that said, I always believe there's room to make adjustments in our lives, for the sake of our dogs living a better life! I also am the most innovative person I know. Training doesn't have to be hard, and doesn't have to follow a set formula. I innovate and customize my programs to fit what already exists with patterns in the home, so the smallest adjustments can have the most beneficial impact.

I have two options for services:
-Board and Train (this is where your dog would stay with me, in my home, for a set period of time)
-Virtual Coaching services geared towards puppy owners, as well as adult dog owners.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I think the main thing is maintaining good hygiene habits. Our home is kept clean on a regular basis. We also have a policy of if someone is feeling unwell, communicate and we can always reschedule a meeting/event.
2- week Board and Train
This program allows us to get a jumpstart on your dog's obedience skills. This is best intended for dogs and puppies (who are potty-trained), at least 4 months old. This is NOT appropriate for dogs with reactivity/strong behavioral issues.

4-week Board and Train
This length of time is ample for a dog to get to an intermediate level with their obedience. It is also great for dogs who are experiencing minor reactivity issues. This is best intended for dogs and puppies (who are potty-trained), at least 4 months old, who have little to no obedience training.

6-week Board and Train
This length of time will allow us to fully condition a dog through a full obedience program to an advanced level, which includes gaining more skills off-leash. This program is best suited for dogs who have little to no obedience training, young puppies (who are potty-trained) , and dogs with deeper behavioral issues that need more time to work on said issues.

Online Puppy Coaching
Package includes work on creating and setting a schedule, crate training, handling drills, impulse control, and more. This foundational package will set you and your puppy up for success with basic behavior skills and more advanced training in the future.
Four 1-hour virtual sessions

Online Dog Coaching
Package includes work on the basic commands (sit, down, stay, come, heel, etc). Our work is designed to be adapted to your household and lifestyle. Our primary focus will be teaching you the tools to effectively build your relationship with your dog as its handler. To develop your and your dog's confidence and achieve optimal obedience, portions of our training will be conducted in public spaces to apply our learning in real time to real world scenarios.

Online Reactivity Coaching
he focus of these sessions are to help guide you through your dog's reactivity issues, and put a management plan in place to create a happy and harmonious life for both the dog and humans in the household. This package does include work on the basic commands (sit, down, stay, come, heel, etc). The end goal of these sessions is to create a more confident dog, and human! You'll walk away more knowledgable and confident in your abilities to handle every situation with ease!
Twelve (12) 1-hour virtual sessions: $900
Sixteen (16) 1-hour virtual sessions: $1000 *Best Value*
Day Training
Like Doggie Daycare.... but way better! Each day you'll drop your dog off in the morning, and pick up in the evening. Each training program is fully customized to your dog's needs and the goals you have for your dog.
Each dog will receive multiple training sessions daily, plus have time to properly socialize with other dogs, as well as take scheduled break times to rest and decompress!
At the end of each day of training, you'll receive a write-up of the training from the day, plus video footage of training from the day. As well as instructions and recommendations to maintain the training.
After 5 days of training, you'll receive a 1:1 training session to receive valuable feedback!
The ideal dog for this program:
- At least 4 months old
- Potty-trained and can be in a crate
- Up to date on all required vaccinations for the dog's age
(e.g. Rabies, Bordetella, Distemper, Lepto/Lyme,
Influenza, etc.)
- Doesn't display aggressive behaviors needing a more in-depth approach.
5 days of training (expires 90 days after the first training day) : $600
10 days of training (expires 6 months after the first training day: $1,100
