Working with Susana and her team was a very unpleasant experience, even 1 star is generous. Despite volunteering to do additional work beyond the contract for free, which I have proof of, she lied about time spent and sent me an invoice for those services. Her questionable business practices included marked-up invoices, inflated product costs, and pretending to work with contractors and trying to charge me for it. I spoke to the contractors she claimed to work with and they confirmed she was lying. Blaming her assistant Oswaldo for any issues I presented was a recurring theme.

Upon termination, I confronted her about overcharging, leading to highly unprofessional behavior on her end. She offered to reimburse me for her lack of services then denied it even though I have it in writing. I’m still waiting for that credit. Now I will be taking her to court to get my money back. She also exhibited a very slow work pace, with significant delays, as evident in a three-month wait for blinds.

I have personally spoken with others who have had horrible experiences working with her and my experience aligns with those negative reviews. For those seeking professionalism, real talent and originality, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. Save yourself the headache of dealing with Susanacruzdesign. More...

These Such matters are taken very seriously at susanacruzdesign and we would like to investigate this further. We urge you to contact us directly so we can address these issues promptly and thoroughly. Unfortunately , we do have a policy around reimbursement return on services once services have been approved and completed . Please remember we had spoken previously and clarified the type of credit that we can provide is a credit toward a new design or oversight time for when your project is being executed if you are in any way unhappy with any part of the design/service . We understand your frustration in regards to the slowness and the slowness of the blinds. We strive to have quick turnaround times with our manufacturers/vendors and that specific manufacturer of blinds unfortunately has a very long lead time . Regrettably , that situation and longer lead times is often influenced by factors beyond our immediate control. We understand how delays can be frustrating and we apologize for any inconvenience caused. Since then We had begun to inform our clients about our experience of the slower time frames with that particular manufacturer We apologize for feeling like you were being overcharged for products/and or invoices . We strive to offer fair and competitive pricing and we understand that perceptions can vary and that is why we do not lock our clients into purchasing anything with or through our company . Also, we understand how upsetting it can be if you believe that you had been invoiced for time spent on something that was not actually done with contractors and/or third parties . We are dedicated to transparency and are happy to share with you our time / location logs that reflect all the time spent on your project during that billing time period . Our billing department can also address all of these concerns and clarify how we invoice and any other billing concerns promptly . Unfortunately, we do invoice for additional time spent after the design has been approved and completed (phone, zoom, in person) , coordination time, research time, and time spent with third parties . It is truly disheartening to hear that you felt we did not take adequate responsibility or address your concerns in a timely manner . Please know that your satisfaction and peace of mind are of utmost importance to us and we deeply regret any shortcomings in our communication or actions that may have led to this perception . We had made several attempts to try to speak with you in person and/or zoom in order to address these issues prior to this Such matters are taken very seriously at susanacruzdesign and we would like to investigate this further.
