Did the hunt in New Orleans as a team building event. One word - amazing! Totally fun, challenging, and a one of a kind experience. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for something unique to do with a group! More...

We did the treasure hunt at the Art Institute of Chicago and had a blast. We had 5 teams and about 30 clues to do in 2 hours before the museum closed at 5pm. The team competition meant lots of running around and laughing at each other. Teams were never at the same location at the same time, so that was planned well. There was no time to enjoy any of the art at the museum, because there was too much time running around trying to figure out the clues and the race to WIN!! Had a blast and I would recommend it. Only problem we had was some art was moved or on loan (5 clues). Some team members were able to Google or ask questions to figure out the answer. Other just gave up realizing the art wasn't there.. Strayboats did give us a refund for those 5 clues. For the price we paid they should have double checked to make sure all the art was still in the same location. No application just a website that can be customized for your event. The website has a countdown clock. See my picture attached. We customized it a little. Website was very easy to use. Don't get penalized for guessing a clue. The hint will cost you half points. More...

I usee Strayboots because a friend recommended them for creating a unique event. I had a specific location I wanted to use and they helped me customize a scavenger hunt in the neighborhood of my choice. From the sales team to the content team everyone was professional and very flexible when it came to helping me create the custom hunt. Thank you so much Strayboots! More...

Enjoyed the DC scavenger hunt with my daughter and a few other teens. Being teenagers, they looked up the answers to the questions on their phones. That might be something to work on. Also, the Architecture person had the same question four times. It got a little old. We did see lots of terrific sights and had an amazing experience at the Navy Memorial. An Honor Flight (WWII vets) from Michigan was there and there was a special presentation by a rifle squad. Very cool and we never would have seen if without the scavenger hunt! More...

I booked a scavenger hunt with Strayboots for my bachelorette party in New Orleans and we had such a fun time! This started off our day (after beignets and cafe au laits of course) and even though my team lost horribly to the other team, we just had a blast running around the French Quarter finding historic spots and taking fun photos. Strayboots is easy to work with and will help you create the best scavenger hunt for your group, they even added in some bonus questions about the bride and groom, which made our hunt that much better and more personal. Loved it! More...

So fun! My company used Stray Boots to plan our recent company outing in downtown Sacramento . We did the Scavenger Hunt and it was a blast! They worked with our company to personalize the entire experience, even adding in some company specific bonus questions along our hunt. Everything is coordinated through a website that begins by giving you a countdown to the start and then tells you what place you are in along the way. We were given 36 different questions that kept all of the teams running around (occasionally stopping for a beer) downtown sac for two hours. I highly recommend stray boots to any group that is looking for a great bonding event. More...

Really enjoyed seeing the Magnificent Mile in Chicago from a different perspective! While the other tourists were taking pics of the giant wreath on the doors of Tribune Tower, we were looking at all of the amazing artifacts curated from incredible historical cites from around the world installed on the outside of the building. So cool!

I did the Perfect Date NYC tour (SoHo/Village area), and while I didn't finish it yet, it was so awesome! Really fun thing to do in the city, perfect for shaking things up. The weather was nice and we got to walking and browsing different places. After a few questions answered, we found we were walking through very quiet streets and it was so peaceful. Awesome stores to walk in to, all with a long NYC history. And looking at puppies, who doesn't want to look at puppies?! I think these tours are what you make of them, so go with good company that enjoys some NYC history and strolling the streets. More...

Fun community/team-building! I booked a corporate scavenger hunt this past weekend, and it seems like everyone in our group had a ball - I know I did! Because it was corporate, you book a little differently - Marshal gave me a code to do a trial-run of the hunt the weekend before so I could make sure it was appropriate for our group. I sent him a few little tweaks here and there on some of the challenges that I thought were confusing, and they implemented them, which I thought was cool. This was fun, educational, and hit a lot of the spots that I like to take people when they're visiting New Orleans! I'm just sad that I've already done it now, because I'd love to do it again. Great little adventure in the Quarter! More...

This program really made our trip worth so much more. We were able to explore a lot of the city and made it really fun but making sure to collect mementos along the way, purchasing chocolate, beer, and a great Christmas ornament. I would love to give it five stars, but I am a perfectionist and was disappointed in one of the clues. Other than that it was a great way to experience and get to know the great downtown area of Chicago. We went to so many places that we otherwise would not have even thought to go to. More...

Stray boots is awesome. If not for this scavenger hunt, we wouldn't have discovered A LOT! I can't say enough about how Stray Boots added to our trip. Without giving away the locations (for future users) it is a wide variety of stores, restaurants, businesses, etc. The only reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5 is because the McDonalds that we were sent to closed the upstairs and we had to 'demand' they let us up to look for a mood ring. I am giving out those details because Stray Boots needs to update the hunt and remove this. McDonalds apparently remodeled and the ring was not there. It wasn't a big deal and we continued on with the awesome scavenger hunt. I will be doing stray boots on my next vacation for sure! This is an awesome app! More...

DID YOU KNOW... the totem pole in Pioneer Square was straight-up stolen from a Tlingit Village?DID YOU KNOW... there's a collection of giant shoes under Pike Place Market? I learned these things and more from the Stray Boots app tours! Today I did the Pioneer Square and Pike Place Market tours. They were both really fun! Even though I've lived in Seattle for years, the tours helped me discover lots of Seattle history and took me to places I've never been as well as old favorites. I will definitely be recommending Stray Boots to visiting friends and family.I liked that the app let me proceed at my own pace, and everyone I asked for help, from shopkeepers to random strangers, was really friendly. I'm pretty sure I claim the title of Stray Boots' biggest fan. Since discovering this company through a Google search about three years ago, I have since purchased and played scavenger hunts in New York City, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Boston. Whether it was with my family or friends, big groups or just a pair of us, these scavenger hunts have created some of the best memories (and photos) from these landmark cities.Stray Boots is a great way to get to know some of the largest, most popular cities around the globe! They are perfect for dates, birthdays, or even if you're bored on a Saturday afternoon and are looking for something to do. They're not only fun, but you learn some unique facts and history about cities that you may have thought you knew like the back of your hand. And not only are you learning about the cities, you're engaging with whoever you're with and sharing a ton of laughs and great conversation along the way.If you're looking for a unique way to spend a date with your lover, share a birthday with your friends, or explore a new city with your family, Stray Boots is the absolute best way to do it all! Last weekend my date and I did the LES Meatball tour in NYC and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We read about other tours before deciding on this one but we still didn't quite know what we were signing up for lol. We visited the doughnut plant, Katz deli, a museum, little shops and of course the meatball shop. Along the way, we learned several new facts and got to see many things we haven't seen before. I like that we could take all the time we wanted and could skip some spots if we weren't interested in them. The app is designed pretty well so it's easy to use, it had a map and sharing capabilities too. Unfortunately we started the tour later than it was recommended so a few places were closed, but it was still a good time. Can't wait to do another one of their tours in NY or elsewhere when I travel. More...

This is a fun activity to do, and a great way to explore the city. Each tour takes 2-3 hours, or more if you're like me and stop along the way to eat and shop. I've done the North Beach tour and the China Town tour, which were both really fun. If you're only going to do one though then I would recommend North Beach. It was really nice to walk around and explore parts of the city and learn at the same time. Some friends and I did the "Downtown Portland Tour," and it was super fun. My husband grew up in Portland, and he learned all sorts of things that he had never known before. We were a group of four, which was a great size, and I wonder if it would have been even better to download two apps and do it as teams against one another...though we would have spent much less time enjoying the sights and learning about the city and more time just running around.Tip: when they suggest times for you to do the tour, they're more than just suggestions! A couple of the clues we could not complete because we did this after hours and the places we were supposed to go into were closed. I'm recommending this to all my friends and family in the area though! More...

I've done this in Boston and DC and it was so much fun both times. These are both cities I've lived in and I learned a lot of new information.
