Truly amazing! DJ and Matt were great trainers and all of STK9 and Pasadena Pet Motel (Sarah and Kristen and Chris and everyone! ) make you feel comfortable and know that your fur-baby is in the BEST hands. Sam LOVES going there and it shows every time we pull in the parking lot. He is excited to see his friends (human and dog) there. His training was so worth it! He is even more lovable and enjoyable now that he knows the expectations. We love the balanced approach to training and look forward to continuing this lifelong relationship with our pup and the STK9 / Pasadena Pet Motel family. Ace loves STK9 and DJ! He already completed the on leash and advanced off leash training in December but just went back for 6 days while we were on vacation for boarding and refresher training and he had a blast! Our dogs Suzy and Blue completed their on-leash board and training. Both are doing wonderful STK9 gave us the tools to keep up with their training. It has been wonderful. DJ, Samantha, and everyone there are wonderful people. They ensure even after training if you have any questions or concerns they are available. STK9 trained our rescue (Phoenix) before we adopted him. He had completed their on-leash obedience program. Having completed this program it definitely helped him transition into an at home environment. Over the past month his personality has really shown through and he has learned to trust us way more than when we first met him. We definitely believe training helped with that and highly recommend STK9’s programs for people who are looking to adopt dogs that have an unknown history. STK9 provided an amazing experience for our puppa dog, Molly. She is still a puppy so she does have her wild puppy energy but she has definitely been transformed into a well behaved, manageable and attentive member of our family. We definitely could not have done this without DJ and Sam. We’ve even began working with Matt for more advanced training to challenge our puppa even more. DJ visited us at our home on Molly’s graduation day from board and train and she was very thorough in training me and my husband on how to be handlers so our puppa continues to be successful with her obedience. Molly gets so many compliments on her good behavior when we’re out in public. People are very surprised that a 5-6 month old puppy can be so well behaved around distractions. What can you say about perfection? I recently moved to St Pete with my dog who is very timid and I was looking for a reliable daycare facility for her. She is literally scared of her own shadow, and I was wary of the few doggie day cares I looked at. Pasadena Pet Motel took all the worry away from finding the right place for my girl! The owner and her team are amazing friendly and loving people, the facility is clean and the dogs have so much fun under the watchful eye of the park rangers! When I say to my dog "Pasadena?" her eyes light up, the tail wag is off the charts and she immediately runs to the door!! She loves going to daycare at Pasadena Pet Motel and I have peace of mind that she is getting exercise and having fun! More...

We stay in St Pete Beach during winter months and a couple of years ago our friends told us about Pasadena Pet Motel. Am I ever grateful to them for their recommendation! !! My Sammy is going on 10, and he is the most timid little guy who suffers from severe separation anxiety. We’ve been taking him to PPM for daycare and he has boarded there before, too. The staff is absolutely wonderful - so kind, attentive & really hands on. Their first love is truly for the animals they take care of. Today, like normal, on the car ride to daycare Sammy started panting and shaking (anxiety kicking in).... We walked in and I heard “Sammy!” Sammy immediately left my side and went straight to see his buddy who works there at PPM. Sammy turned with one last glance at me and then walked straight on back through the door to go see his 4-legged friends. I just stared in shock and amazement of what just happened. He has NEVER left my side so easily and just knowing that he is comfortable and excited to be there completely melted my heart. I’m so sad that we will have to return home this spring because we will miss PPM so very much! But believe me, we will return and set up a daycare package our first day back next winter!!! Rosie, our energetic 2-1/2 year old Vizsla mix, stayed at the Pasadena Pet Motel for eleven nights after Christmas 2018 into January 2019. Can't say enough about how happy we were with the friendly staff who obviously care deeply about their guests. Even more to the point, we took Rosie out everyday for play at local dog parks and beaches, and the best recommendation available came as we returned her in the afternoon and she always went up the sidewalk to the door with her tail wagging and so happy to see her friends at the Pasadena Pet Motel! Staff was very nice. Seemed to show lots of care for my dog. Watch out for owner, she's a grouch. She told me not to pick up my dog for a few hours & return same day the last stay, not the mist current (didn't see her thankfully). Poor staff who have to work for her.
