I came home to brand new tile & grout this afternoon! We had our grout cleaned specifically because after Harvey and the rains our female schnauzer whom is potty trained must have gotten anxiety from all that rain and decided she was going to urinate inside everyday, so our grout was getting stained and gross and the mop just wasn't cutting it anymore! Our tile and grout seriously looks brand new, I can't get over how awesome of a job he did! I'd give him 10 stars if I could. We'll be using him for our carpeted rooms soon! This is no ordinary care service. Mike refurbished 1000 sq ft of our 1960 saltillo tiles that we wanted to get rid of and replace with hardwood floors. He talked us into redoing the floors. We took the chance. He worked four days, including Saturday and Sunday to finish the job. For one year we have been remodeling and adding to our home. We dealt with many different sub contractors and specialists. Mike was hands down the best at his trade. His passion for saltillo tiles was a treat to watch, as he worked on it like an artist would on a painting. He stripped the floor completely, before finishing with a first-rate oil-based sealer. What a phenomenal result! Mike is a gentleman.Not only did we save thousands of dollar by not removing the tiles, but allow us to boast that we now have the best saltillo tile floors in Austin! I found Mike through an ad on Craigslist and called looking to have my Saltillo tile and grout cleaned. He quoted me a really good price and I kept his information while I shopped around and got other bids. The first company (a different cleaning company) came out to give me a bid and gave me a very high pressured pitch to clean my floors that day. I couldn't make sense of his estimate details so I did not hire him. The second quote (again, another company) seemed good, but their prices were just too high for what I wanted to spend. So I called Mike again and talked to him at length about his process and then I found his Yelp reviews and decided to hire him. I was a little nervous because I found him on Craigslist, but I am so happy I hired him now. Mike said he would be at my house at 10:00am on Saturday (8/24/2015) and I was shocked when he backed into my driveway at 10:01am. I told him he was the most punctual contractor I had ever met. Mike was really professional and friendly and we got along really well. He is the owner and operator of the business and we talked at length about various subjects while he was taking a break. So I finally broke down and decided to get my carpets clean. I have 5 cats, 2 dogs, and a teenager.....and, well, it's been a while. ..so, it was not a fun thought.These guys came out and did a phenomenal job.My carpets look almost new, the smell is gone, the husband is happy.I will definitely be using them again!
