We are new to the Origin Hip Hop Academy and are so thankful for this dance academy. ​This is a family owned business and every owner/family member I have spoken to is kind, respectful, and flexible. I couldn't bring my 11 year old to classes on consistent days due to my schedule, and Cheryl said, "It's ok. Let's just get her in here dancing!" My daughter is taking the TikTok and K-pop classes and absolutely loves it! If you are looking for a fun dance academy for your child, you found it. I am so happy I found the Origin Hip Hop performance academy because my 2 and a half year old boy loves I means LOVES to dance and music, BTS music videos all day so I wanted to find him a class that he would really be into but I wanted something fun and super energetic because he has SOOO much energy that something like ballet I wasn't sure would hold his attention especially since he loves mainstream music! I've tried things like soccer classes for this little guy and it really didn't hold his attention and that was literally only for 20 minute classes! So when I googled dance classes for toddlers this was the only place that taught something other than ballet and was in my area! The coaches are fantastic my little guys literally starts saying "I GO TO DANCE CLASS!!" As soon as we pull into the underground parking structure (super convenient by the way because we never have to worry about finding a spot and it's always shaded and cool when you get back into the car). Class is for a full hour and the entire time my son stays engaged with the lesson and is actually listening to the coach (for the whole hour!). The actual facility is so open and clean. I've seen other places for kids where I'm worried if I leave my little guy there on his own that he will climb something, fall down and hurt himself but this facility is literally a wide open dance studio with a long jumping mat in one area for the kids to run and jump which is low enough to the ground that no one can get hurt. Great place if your kids love to move, sing, dance and have fun. Its also perfect for parents because you get one hour where you can run errands usually in target which is also in the mall! So convenient really! It's literally a win win situation for everyone. My son no has a place that will encourage his love of dancing to grow and allow him to be comfortable with himself and it really helps build confidence in the little guys.
