What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The best avenue to great photography is by developing a communication style and building trust that results in excellent imagery. Creating a good atmosphere by relating to my client is the optimal goal.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Every client has different needs but a sampling of questions could be: What is your vision? What style portrait do you want to create? Is there a theme? What location? What will the images be used for? What type of event is it? How long will the event last? How many "looks" do you need? How large is the wedding? How many guests? How old is the student? What are their hobbies?
What do you love most about your job?
Creating imagery that paints the true picture of my client. Images that display who they really are.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Starting my own photography business gives me the complete freedom to create and develop my own style on my own terms in collaboration with the client.
Why should our clients choose you?
My service is customized to meet the expectations of the client. What we create through client collaboration is not cookie cutter or pre-fab.... it's custom and personal. I don't take pictures. I create imagery in an atmosphere that allows the true character of a person to shine through. Because we used some of the highest grade equipment available, all of this can be done at a location mutually agreed upon, whether it's a park, beach, office, home, sunny or cloudy. Southbay Exposure will always capture and deliver high quality imagery in a timely manner.
