I'm leaving a 3 star review only because the entrees provided were good, but everything else about using Signature Events for my mother's 90th birthday was a nightmare.
The servers showed up after guests started to arrive and without all of the food I paid for. They had no idea how to set up service for food or drinks. Both the string beans and vegetable tray did not show up. I paid for a Caesar salad and they brought a salad with Ranch. The cheese and cracker tray was pathetic with a small amount of junky cheese and stale crackers. I was told a server would walk around with Hors d'oeuvres. I had to beg a server to do that and the hors d'oeuvres were nearly desiccated at that point. I paid hundreds of dollars for table linens that ended up barely covering the tables, high end plates and napkins which ended up being stuff I could have gotten at the grocery store for a few bucks. Also, all the leftovers were supposed to be put in containers for people to take home but those were not provided. I had to get tinfoil, cling wrap and containers for the left over food.
Ty sent inexperienced servers and threw them under the bus. I'm supposed to get a few hundred bucks back from the $2000+ I paid, but I think I should get $1,000 back for such a shoddy job.
