The event was a surprise 60th Birthday Party for my wife and I tasked my two adult children with putting it together. At some point in the planning stages my sister introduced my daughter to Ms.
Law at Set The Atmosphere. I can honestly say that connection, and Ms. Law's involvement made all the difference. The party went from what I'm sure would have been nice, to what was simply spectacular!
Ms. Law's expertise and attention to detail became readily apparent. She made multiple contacts with the venue manager to ensure everything was in order, and she even took charge of the "little" things that are usually forgotten, but are very important. That attention to detail made the difference. Ms. Law was very attentive to my input and my concerns, and she was very respectful when pointing out things that I had not considered, or didn't think were necessary. At the event itself, she took charge and didn't miss a beat.
I can honestly say that Set The Atmosphere was the difference maker. Had I been asked in the beginning if I wanted an event planner, without hesitation I would have said no. All I can say now is, I'm truly glad I wasn't asked. If you are planning an event, do yourself a favor and contact Davina Law and Set The Atmosphere. You will not be disappointed.

From start to finish, Davina helped me visualize and execute a fantastic surprise birthday party for my mom. The party was in Florida but I was doing all the planning from my home in Maryland. Davina made sure everything was communicated properly with venue staff despite my inability to physically be there during planning. Additionally, Davina took care of contacting and reserving party decor which made the venue pop when the party arrived. She has an eye for quality and can work with any vision she is given. We love retreats! They are the perfect opportunity to release and rebuild your guests. I believe this is our most favorite work. We can not only the details of the retreat but lodging and transportation. We're ready when you are.
