I have had three alarm installations by Safe and Secure. The installers were professional. The sales person knew his business and was helpful. I am very pleased with the quality and quick install. The lack of five stars is due to one thing: they wrote down my credit card info on the sales order and later charged my card at their office. The following day I had massive credit card fraud attempts exceeding $4,000. About $2K resulted in charges on my card. According to my bank, all fraudulent charges were entered "manually", the same method used by Safe and Secure, rather then a swipe or chip (requires card to be present). One of the fraudulent charges hit the home Depot located next door to Safe & Secure. The absence of any other other vendors using manual entry within weeks of the fraud and the Home Depot charge makes me suspect an employee of Safe and Secure. While I didn't experience any personal loss, just a huge hassle, I really expected a call from the owner to investigate this possible risk to his business. There was no call from the owner. More...

I've had my system for a couple weeks and I am very pleased with it. I purchased a new home that already had a Honeywell system installed. I researched all the big name companies and didn't want to deal with any dealers or third parties. I contacted Safe and Secure for an estimate based on my initial infrastructure. John Jr gave me a call and scheduled an appointment for later in the week. Upon his arrival, he took a look at the equipment I had already installed and he was able to put together a system for me that met my needs. I was fortunate to get an install date the following week as they told me they were 2-3 weeks out based on their schedule and the items being ordered. Jaime and Johnny came out to do my install. They were great and professional. It was cool to talk with them as they took their time and explained every step of the installation process. The owner John came out to check on his team and he helped me get setup on the PC and mobile applications. Upon completion of the install, I was shown how to use the mobile apps and we perfected the camera placement for the house. I am very satisfied with my system and I appreciate that the staff you work with during the initial setup, is the staff that you work with for support. It's nice to be able to have someone answer the phone when you call. I don't have to deal with some call center in the Midwest or overseas. I will continue to support local companies as long as they can provide the same excellent service as Safe and Secure. More...

SAS best service I ever had since I moved to Las Vegas!!!!!!!!!! I was with ADT, I'm telling you they suck man! Sorry but I had problems trying to connect with customer service 3 different times, they take forever! !!!! My alarm did not go on when it was supposed to and went on INSTEAD when it was not supposed to!!! Anyway, when I discovered SAS WOW!!! I want to give a big shout out to John Vaccarino and Safe and Secure Alarms and Video for their service and support which went way above and beyond of what I would have expected from an Alarm company on Thanksgiving of all days! !!
My store got broken into and his alarm system and camera system was a huge deterrent to more damage or loss. Because of the cameras and alarm the perp was just in my store for 20 seconds... that is all good but what was more amazing was that he personally came to my store with me to keep me company while my door was repaired!!!! From start to finish, this company is one great outfit! Out of all the companies that came by for quotes, this was the one that was the most genuine and spent the most time. John Jr. (Sales Rep) ROCKS!! I never felt "rushed", even if I repeated questions. He did not spend time bad-mouthing competitors, like other companies did. Every moment was spent on MY benefits and what I was purchasing for my family's safety.  No up-selling tactics....they effortlessly integrated all with my existing system. I never expected John, the company owner, to come strolling through with the entire crew (with his shoe coverings, as well, to respectfully protect our carpets); what a great personal touch! Their prices aren't the cheapest, but I feel that I paid for true QUALITY. I enjoyed no hidden costs, no bait and switch pricing and no regrets! Their work was flawless, their crew was super professional (but not stiff shirts - certainly very HUMAN) and their systems work WELL. John (my sales rep) was extremely prompt with answers and was very helpful. SAS easily beat ADT's quote and they are locals supporting local businesses. Safe and Secure Alarms is by far the best security company I have ever dealt with and they are a local company. Not only is there customer services in packable but the rates are very comparative. They are not like the other BIG company's like ADT and Vivit that all they want is to tie you up in a contract, get ur money and be done with you. When they came out to our home, they designed a plan with there suggestions on what we needed. They never tried to add extra equipment and push us to get more than what we needed and made us feel very comfortable. I've had the big alarm companies before and they don't even come close to Safe And Secure when it comes to piece of mind. The personal service and professionalism is top notch . From the personalized security system to my camera monitoring I know I am "Safe and Secure". When a robber tried to break in to our office, he was not only scared away by the advanced security system, we caught him on video and was very helpful to law enforcement. I even get calls from John the owner occasionally when he is alerted to trouble signals.( usually my fault for not setting the alarm properly). I just recently purchased a new home here in Las Vegas, recently moving from California. Upon the close of Escrow, I was bombarded by every vendor imaginable. I knew I needed an alarm system, so I decided to do my own research and make a decision based on that. After scouring the web, I came across Safe and Secure. I sent a message requesting a quote and they were able to set up an appointment the same day. After the initial meeting, I was given options and was not pressured into any "upsell", which I greatly appreciated. The pricing was reasonable and the service was top notch. These guys are great!  They handle everything in-house.  From security video to alarm systems, even the door locks.  I appreciate that its a one-stop experience, and I only have to deal with one point of contact. John is the owner, and I like that he gives direct, person-to-person support.  If you call a bigger company, you are just a number, but John knows all his customers by name.You still get the same (if not better) monitoring & response service as the big guys, but the benefit of going with a mid-size, local, family-owned business is that you are doing business with an actual person - not a nameless corporation.His prices are fair.  He's not the cheapest, but would you really trust your home & family security to the cheapest company?     When it comes to home security you get what you pay for. I found this company on google so I called on a late Saturday afternoon and talked to John, the owner. After explaining my security issues at my home he really went above and beyond for me. Last minute on a holiday weekend is hard to get anything done but he made it happen. He couldn't get an employee to come out as quickly as I needed so he went and got all of the equipment himself and came to my house and set everything up. On top of the equipment quality and fast service, John is very nice man who does right by people. I was just some crazy lady calling on the phone and John took time away from his holiday weekend to make sure I was safe. My family and I had to move into an apartment while we save to buy our home. We wanted to feel safe. So we called Safe and secure. Let me tell you their name completely says it all.  Johns was very professional. He took his time to completely understand my family's needs and provided me with exactly what I wanted. I have an alarm and cameras for inside and out. It's a wonderful feeling knowing that family is protected all the way around. My favorite feature that I used continuously is the live feed that i have directly from my phone. I can see what my dogs are doing, what my children are up to if they are home. I had Safe and Secure install a security system in my office which included video so I could watch what is happening on my phone. John explained all my options which were many, what to expect from the installation and spent time afterwards showing me how to use everything. The video on my phone is so clear I can see things going on outside across the other side of the parking lot. I have needed some help from changes I made in the office and John was there to help both times with no delay. It is this personnel service that makes the difference between working with someone who cares or working with a huge company with a 800 # or DIY.
