Eve, the head trainer, is top notch! She worked with our dog Echo YEARS ago and he still remembers all the commands she taught him. I've had multiple people comment on walks on how well behaved he is. I even let my toddler walk him because he never pulls on the leash. Definitely recommend. More...

Our dog Wrigley had some really significant behavior problems that we couldn’t seem to get under control no matter how hard we tried! He is a very loving dog, but had a wild hair that sent him running out the front door and around the neighborhood any chance he could, putting himself and other drivers at risk. We felt somewhat hopeless! Eve, from Ruff Work, helped Wrigley learn to stay and heel within an hour. I was blown away. What do you love most about your job?
I love working with people and their dogs. Seeing the "aha!" moment when a dog learns a new skill and watching the faces of their owners as their dog transforms before their eyes is quite rewarding.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've always loved animals, especially dogs. I started interning with an experienced trainer in my early twenties while also earning a bachelor's degree in education. With a love for teaching people and working with dogs, a dog training business was born.

Essential Leadership Program
This program covers the most common behavioral issues, as well as walking on a leash without pulling. This course is perfect for someone before you get a dog, for those with young puppies, and for someone with a dog of any age.

*Detailed observation of your dog or puppy in his natural environment
*Option to visit the park, street, or yard where the behavior issues are occurring
*Implementation of the fundamentals using our amazing Leadership Laws
*A tailored solution to your dog’s behavioral issue designed to fit you, your home, and your dog
*4 Commands (Sit, Stay, Heel, and Come)
*Training materials
*3-months of 1-on-1 telephone and email support from me
*Option to apply the cost of the program to upgrade to the Enhanced or Elite Program during your support period
Enhanced Leadership and Training

Elite Leadership, Lodging, & Training Program
This program includes everything in the Enhanced program plus 5 days of boarding and training and personal coaching sessions for a year.
*5-day Board & Train bootcamp in a home setting to establish a solid baseline of behavior in your dog
Pick up and drop off are included]
*Your dog receives a minimum of 4 personal coaching sessions per day
*Your dog goes on at least 1 structured walk per day
*Debrief and knowledge transfer at drop-off lasting two-three hours
*1-year of 1-on-1 personal coaching sessions at a mutually agreed place
*Detailed explanation of the fundamentals using our amazing Leadership Laws on drop-off
*Commands (Sit, Down, Stay, Wait, Come, Heel, Leave it, Place, plus others you may choose)
