These cookies are SO GOOD. My guilty pleasure is the frosted cancer cookies at Safeway (the impossibly soft cookies with the tooth achingly sweet frosting dyed in shocking colors). I love Rosycakes. We've had their cinnamon rolls several times and they're delicious. I also tried a sample of a white cake with a lemon curd filling and told my Tim that that's what I want for my birthday!

Rosie and her daughter are the sweetest people! We met them on a summer afternoon in her gorgeous backyard. She got to know us, asked us questions about our wants in a cake and executed that perfectly. It was exactly what we wanted! The cake was delicious (we had a vanilla buttercream as well as a pumpkin) SO YUMMY! She allowed us to make small payments leading up to the wedding which was much appreciated with all the payments we had going out to various vendors. Rosy made our wedding cake and it was the best cake I have ever had! I will dream about this cake for the rest of my life. We did a 3-tier cake with vanilla, pumpkin, and chocolate. This place is amazing! I was driving by a couple weeks ago and decided to pop in and get a few sweets for my family. I settled on 4 cupcakes and promptly took them home. From the very first bite I was hooked. The cake is very moist and the cream cheese frosting is to die for! The funny thing is, is I generally don't even like cake or frosting. It's just that good. We only got an 8 inch cake to cut for our wedding, but boy was it delicious! Since the time I went in to do a tasting it was nothing but a pleasure to work with Rosie and her family. They were so sweet and genuinely interested in our wedding plans. I had a great time chatting with them over tasting delicious cakes, and they sent me home with the rest of the samples so that my fiance could try them since he could not make it. Rosie was quick to respond via email and helped with ideas for our dessert table. We ended up going for the banana cake and it was so good that we ate it for a week after the wedding... still delicious with each passing day! Great people. Great cake. OMG!! Rosycakes made 3 cakes for our daughter's wedding and they were all amazing! Many of our guests commented that these were the best tasting cakes they had ever eaten at a wedding. And beautiful! She worked with our florist to decorate them with fresh flowers and greenery, and they were perfect. Rosie is so easy to work with and the process for tasting was so much fun. Oh my Gosh!!!! I am in love!!! The cinnamon rolls are amazing and a single bite of the frosted sugar cookie gave me chills. The flavors of butter and vanilla are amazingly balanced and delicious. Picture this you wake up, you're tired, you work the night shift. You get the kids ready and off to school, come home, make your husband his lunch and make sure his coffee is warmed up and send him off to work for the day. You're off to pick up some ibuprofen from the local grocery store. On your way home you see a sign on the side of a busy road that says fresh-baked cinnamon rolls you never been there but decide, hey what the heck I've got nothing better to do right now except go home and sleep. Then you walk in and the first thing that hits you is the brightness of this boutique, the sound of hand mixers and rolling pins the sweet smell of baked goods and frosting in the air. You're greeted with this beautifully decorated cake then you notice the rest of the display cases. Nicely lit, clean, fresh, handwritten signs detailing all the prices. There's a menu on a chalkboard detailing the pricing and flavors available of their hand made cakes. I ordered a cinnamon roll and a frosted sugar cookie I wanted to try a couple of things. As I exit their store I feel like I should've been in one of those commercials when a person goes in one way and comes out completely transformed. Had there been an outfit change after walking into the store I would've walked out in a sun Dress with sandals and a wide brim hat l. There would've been animated birds chirping in the space above my shoulders. Rosy Cakes is hands-down the best bakery I have been to in a very long time and for those that know me know I've been baking cakes for years and I'm very picky. I loved working with Rosycakes! They created such a wonderful tasting that included banana, lemon, chocolate raspberry and other delicious treats. We ended up adding on a dessert buffet to our cake order and it was such a hit! The dessert display looked gorgeous and we received so many compliments on the cake. Today was my second trip to Rosy Cakes bakery. Is it possible to have a life-changing experience two days in a row? I think I may have found the glitch in the matrix. I walked in this morning to be greeted by a smiling face. The young lady manning the cash register exuding the kind of pleasantries that are the equivalent of a Venti white chocolate mocha in my world. She welcomes me back and asked me what I thought of the cinnamon bun and the frosted cookie I had the day before, if only she knew. Today she described a strawberry thumbprint cookie, which happens to be one of her favorites, and showed me where the cake slices can be found. I mentioned before that I’m very particular about Cake so I have to try it! In fact, I would say that every great bakery can be judged by a single slice of their cake. I often tell my husband that I judge restaurants by how good their dessert is. To me, the end of the meal should have as much care put into it as a beginning.
