About

I started my dog training business out of a passion to help struggling dog owners. This was fueled by the journey I had gone on with my rescued Aussie while trying to rehab his anxiety and severe reactivity. After attempts with multiple “positive only” trainers, I dove into the world of balanced training and learned how to actually stop bad behaviors and train super solid obedience.

Q&As

I love helping people live a better life with their dogs! My training turns owners into leaders, which gives them control and improves their relationship and bond with the dog. This in turn gives them more freedom to do fun things like off leash hiking, hanging at beer gardens, or walking through farmer's markets.

I was inspired to start my business because there is so much misinformation about dog training methods. So many owners are struggling due to the lies coming from the positive only movement. I went through it for years and want to prevent others from falling victim to it.

I get results. I work with just about any dog except human aggressive and will train both the dog and the owners. I also provide lifetime support as long as the owners keep up with the training to the best of their ability.

Yes! I prefer to work with a dog and owners directly, but I can coach through FaceTime or Zoom. I charge $50 per hour.

Services

For dogs 4 months and up. Full obedience and behavior modification program that will teach your dog a reliable sit, down, place, recall, kennel up, out, and heel. Your dog will also learn a calm mindset and how to rest on command. I love teaching dogs to "out" from a toy or ball, which means to drop it and move away, then go to a "place" on a bed or cot. This gives owners the ability to control play and keep their dog's mind engaged!

For dogs under 4 months old. I work on potty training, crate training, basic commands (sit, down, recall, and place), and leash pressure with a slip lead. Dogs are also exposed to new things like grooming, having their feet touched, jumping over things, crawling under things, new noises, etc. Also stops any nipping, jumping, eating things they shouldn't. A great start for dogs to then move on to full training once they are over 4 months old!
