What do you love most about your job?
Watching the dogs positive behavior improve as the pet parent learns to be more confidant in their role as the pack leader. when parents send me pictures of them playing at the beach, park or on vacation, I get so happy! It brings me great joy knowing the dog is being stimulted in a positive way and the family is having fun training their pup!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was laid-off after thirty years due to a corporate re-structuring. I began to realize that there are so many parents with dogs who are out of control and they are frustrated beyond belief! I figured if I could train killer whales and dolphins to get along and perform in the parks shows, I can use these skills to help famalies re connect with the puppy they fell in love with through positive animal behavior training techniques.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am a very good animal trainer, I work well teaching adults, seniors and children to train their dog. I am not only going to teach you how to train your dog, I am going to teach you about dog behavior. You will learn pre-cursors to dog aggression, proper and inproper ways to play with your dog and other topics that will help you and your dog to become better companions.
You will leave each class with new skills knowing how to train your dog to behave and listen. Plus, I love to relate my marine mammal stories to dog behavior, it is very similar.
Puppy Level 1&2 Classes
This six-week class teaches your puppy basic behavior using positive behavior techniques, just like the killer whales and dolphins.
Adult Level 1&2 Classes
Your older do can learn new tricks! My six-week class teaches older dogs and their parents how to communicate together using proven techniques from killer whales and reliable dog training techniques.
Leash walking /Lunging / Barking Class
Have you ever heard this? "My dog is great at home until we get outside, then they are a monster". This is a common problem with dogs and their owners. My six-week class takes your uncontrollable dog and teaches them to be calm, responsive and social. This class will teach your dog how to be a possitive social influence with other dogs.
