Although we have used Philippup Kennels for boarding and have always had a great experience, I am so happy that I decided to have Blue enroll in the bootcamp. We are amazed at the huge difference in her behavior especially with only being away for such a short time! Christos did a amazing job! We could not be happier with the training our dog, Willow, received from Christos! Willow is an almost 3 year old, German Shorthaired Pointer and her energy level is constantly through the roof with a crazy prey drive to match. Before giving her to Christos for the 2 week boot camp, it was impossible to walk her on the leash without wanting to turn around and go home defeated. Additionally, she had leash aggression with other dogs. Now, Willow is actually manageable and I look forward to our walks together. She is still getting used to me giving the commands and learning to walk at my pace but Christos gave her the ability to focus and enjoy her obedience training! He also sent daily updates and pictures to show progress and let us know our little girl was safe and loved. Since the training ended, I have contacted Christos with questions and he has always been quick to respond, happy to help, and has even offered to come on a walk with us (post training) to ensure I am also getting the training necessary to be the best dog owner possible. It is important to note that the work does not end when Christos gives your pup back and you must be committed to continuing to build on the great foundation that he built. Could not recommend Christos and his 2 week training program enough and we will definitely be returning to him for training with our second dog!! More...

Jet just came back from the two week boot camp. We shopped with him at Dick’s and PetMart. He now has perfect Heels, passing little kids and other dogs without stressing us out. You need to contact Cristos now, not kidding! We love our Pup! He was sweet and loving. BUT would jump, take food from our kids, and walk ME. We loved our boy but we didn’t have the tools to control him. We knew it was serious when he ran across the street and I couldn’t call him back. We were referred to Cristos by a dear friend. Her sister highly recommended Philippup Kennels. We signed up Beau for the two week program. Well, ITS THE BEST DECISION WEVE MADE FOR OUR FUR BABY! My husband is not easily impressed. My girlfriend and I chose to work with Christos as we know him from a previous job and have seen his videos and wanted to get our dog some training. We chose the 4 week program, which includes the collar, leash, and 1 personal hour each week that teaches a new command. It was really helpful because we were able to learn what we needed to do and had a week in between lessons to practice and learn how to communicate with our dog better. Nala would pull and pull and pull on her leash to the point where your arm hurt and she would be choking herself and not care.. with the lessons and repetition, our dog is definitely much better on the leash (with the e-collar on) and eventually we’re hoping to get her to listen and walk without the collar . Christos was patient, and made the lessons engaging for us and the dog and that’s what really helped. Would definitely recommend this program to anyone. More...

Nico did so well with Christos in the last couple weeks! before training, Nico would pull me around on the leash (we tested a harness, then gentle leader, ultimately giving up). He doesn't pull anymore when I walk him - I'm in complete shock honestly. I really didn't believe it would work so well but I'm so so happy! feels like Nico has way more confidence too, and simply holds his commands better. glad we are able to keep the e-collar because that will be extremely helpful as I continue his training based off of what Christos had worked on with him! happy mom here :) More...

Stos was great with Dax. She is super smart and knew her commands but struggled with walking past other dogs without lunging or whining. It was obnoxious and embarrassing. Day 1 of getting her back after the 2 weeks I went to a brewery where a few dogs barked in her face. Her reaction was to sit there and wag her tail. There were a few instances where she almost lunged but I was able to correct it! Stos is a wizard and can do no wrong. I was definitely hesitant to give her up for the two weeks but he was very consistent in sending update pics/videos. Thanks so much for everything! More...
