Got full highlights, trim and blow dry with Gabbey and she did a GREAT job! She loves what she does and that comes through in her attention to detail. She asked lots of questions to make sure she was giving me exactly what I wanted and had great suggestions for how to achieve a new look. And the scalp massage when she was shampooing my hair was something she could charge extra for by itself it was so relaxing!

Schalan, the owner was there to lend a helping hand between her own clients. She is a colorist expert herself and one of a handful of trainers at her level in San Antonio. Both women are super easy to talk to and have great senses of humor, so my time there flew by with great conversation in a nice atmosphere.

The salon is adorable and has a selection of boutique clothing items as well as the salon hair products you'd expect. Mostly all Paul Mitchell products so if that's what you like, this is the place to come!

My new salon! I have been looking for "the one" for a while now and I finally found it! I'm very light blonde and it was hard to find a salon that did my color the way I wanted and didn't damage the heck out of my hair. I love this place. The owner and staff are so nice and sweet, as soon as I walked in I was greeted and offered a drink. These girls know what they are doing and take their time to get it perfect. Just left my second appointment at this salon and couldn't be more thrilled. I got myself an early birthday present which included highlight touch ups, toner, Brazilian blowout (finally! ) and a trim. Gabby with who did my hair, and what an impressive young woman she is! She loves what she does, as does the salon owner Schalan (who is 1 of 6 Paul Mitchell educators in this region by the way!). Both times I've been here the customer service is outstanding the conversation is good and the atmosphere is so great! The salon is very nicely decorated, and has a boutique in the front with some very cute, trendy pieces available at great prices. I recommend this place to everyone! Guys who need a basic cut, other women thinking about blow bar deals (their blowouts are same price or better than the blow bars ladies!) and everyone in between. The ladies here are caring and passionate and NEVER rush you out the door, unless maybe you tell them you need to rush! I couldn't be happier with my color, cuts, and now Brazilian blowout! PS to my curly girls - they know how to cut your hair! Gabby herself is a very curly girl so she understands the battle and the importance of getting things right with our hair. They'll either follow your directions or put their expertise to good use and give you suggestions if you're unsure or asking for something new. I've seen them do things from cuts and highlights to beautiful updos and trendy new colors. Beyond impressed with the color and Brazilian service I received from Gabriella!  She is beyond talented.  Wonderful soul and spirit!  Dedicated to customer service which I greatly appreciate.  I discovered the salon when I searched Yelp for a salon that would allow for online booking, and had appointments available for Saturday, and Personal Touch showed up and was close to me!  Gabriella did my color Saturday, and while doing my color she was adamant and incredibly convincing about how beneficial the Brazilian would be for my hair.  I am very Rapunzel when it comes to my hair!  I love long hair!  I unfortunately had damaged it quite a bit with box coloring.  I had heard about Brazilian many times, but no one explained the extreme benefits of the service and how it truly rebuilds and renews your hair!  It is true!  I am beyond pleased with the results!  My hair literally feels and looks like it did when I was in my teens and 20s - ie pre-coloring and chemical treatments!  I am over the moon pleased and feel Rapunzel worthy again!!!  Beyond thankful to Gabriella for convincing me to take the leap and get the Brazilian treatment!  It is important to note that Gabriella is certified to provide the Original Brazilian - be sure you only go to someone that is certified and that it's the Original Brazilian product.  Authorized salons are listed at the Original Brazilian website for the product.  Personal Touch offers discounts if you pre-book future appointments.  I recommend Gabriella!  She is amazing!  Thank you Gabriella! Must write again about this salon !! I have now been a client for five years and Personal Touch just keeps getting better ! ! My hair has never looked this good or been as healthy !!! The owner, Schalan, is extremely professional and consistently goes above and beyond what is necessary. For example , extra long scalp massages and  even after coloring and blowing out my hair she thought my hair would look better with some layering. So she texturized my hair at no extra charge! By the way, the prices are extremely reasonable! I must almost mention the mini boutique located with in the shop . If I could give this place more stars I would!! From the second I walked into Personal Touch I felt welcomed and comfortable. Schalan is an AMAZING stylist, extremely professional, friendly and super sweet. She was extremely knowledgeable about the products she used and was able to explain exactly what she was going to do to my hair, which made me feel extremely safe in her hands! I have very thick long wavy hair which makes me reluctant when going to new places but I couldn't be more satisfied with my hair!! I absolutely love it! I recommend her to ANYONE. Great salon! I've been coming to Shaylan for about 2 years now. As a girl with lots of curly hair, I'm very particular about my hairstylists. Curly hair can be tricky, but Shaylan knows it and always gives me a perfect style-Exactly what I want every time. The salon keeps excellent records, and regardless of how long I go between cuts, they pick up right where we left off. They offer a full range of services and are great for everything from a quick trim, to Brazilian blowouts, too flashy, fashion forward options. They offer a rebooking discount program and other monthly specials for their Brazilian blowout that makes it a little more affordable. That's next on my todo list for sure! I was in the area, had time to kill, seeing an open sign in the window I decided to get my hair cut. Schalan was very cordial and cut my hair rather quickly. She was telling me about her new salon, how she has hired a young lady who's almost licensed and how she wants to give her a chance to develop and grow, just as she herself was given a chance 5 years ago . Schalan's attitude struck me to write this review....still killing time. Sounds like her salon does every kind of service out there. Oh my hair came out great, pretty basic , but some of the salons in Austin have a hard time blending the top (longer hair) to my sides (very short) with out looking squared. Price was reasonable enough that I left a larger than normal tip yet paying less overall than the few I go to in Austin. More...
