We have used perfect pooch for over two years. We searched for a good groomer after our longtime groomer become ill. I found perfect pouch and liked the mobile services which drew my initial attention plus the detailed website about the grooming experience they had. The grooming service has been, hands down, the best I’ve ever paid for! Plus, the mobile service is the best option for anxious pets! Now, I have to mention my dog has a few peculiarities. For one, she hates getting bathed. Lastly, she has some serious separation anxiety and traditional drop off grooming services have always left her a nervous wreck throughout those kinds of experiences. Caroline did great cutting my Australian Shepherd’s fur. She asked in advance how I’d like his cut and made sure to follow my requests. She already knew not to shave a double coated dog, so I’m happy she is a knowledgeable, responsible groomer. She taught Bailey how to be less afraid of the blow dryer and went slow with him. When Bailey came back inside the house, he looked so handsome, clean, and his paw fur was trimmed. She also gave Bailey a Thanksgiving bandana to wear. We’ll have the perfect Thanksgiving photos now! I took my dog Ajax here for the first time today to get his nails trimmed. Over the past few months, my dog started having difficulty at the vet where we usually get his nails clipped. He is adopted and undersocialized. As a dog trainer myself, I knew we needed to take a different approach in order to see any improvement with his currently negative association to nail trims. I’d begun paw massaging at home with treats and decided to give perfect pooch a try after reading their website. They did not disappoint. When we first arrived I noticed Jim’s first interaction with my dog. He sat down on the ground, avoided eye contact, and handed Ajax some treats. Exactly how one should interact with a fearful dog. Ajax came right over and sat next to him. When I picked him up I was beyond impressed that Jim was able to go near him with a dremel. He spent an hour working with him. I don’t know any vet or groomer who will spend this long training while grooming. Yes, nail health is important but to work on behavior adjustment at the same time with the help of anxiety meds is so valuable. More...

Caroline has been grooming my boston terrier for over 2 years now. I have been a client for both mobile and in-shop. Baxter always looks amazing after his grooming, and I love the fact that she is able to get my dog's nails so much shorter than groomers who use clippers. I am a very happy owner of a labrador and I have been using Caroline's grooming services for a good while now. Roscoe always looks and smells fantastic afterwards, and she does a really thorough job at deshedding his coat. I have taken him to other groomers in the past and they have not been able to compare to the level of expertise Caroline has shown in caring for my dog. We have taken our dog Moxy to Caroline for three years now (since we first adopted him) and we have never had any issues with her services. Moxy has never been harmed or abused in any way whatsoever. I'd recommend her to anyone!!!I'd also like to add that what's happening to Caroline right now is terrible. I've known Caroline for over six years and anyone who knows her personally will tell you without hesitation that Caroline is the furthest thing from what she's being accused of. Caroline does a fantastic job on my two dogs - a dachshund and a beagle. I know that she will treat my miniature dachshund with care unlike some of the big box groomers. I also know that she worked very hard to make my high-strung, anxious beagle trust her and relax during the grooming. Jim and Caroline have been grooming my dog for several years and have done a wonderful job. They are very good to my dog and she loves them. Caroline always shows up on time or calls when she is running late. Caroline has been boarding my dog for a few years. My dog is happier and get much better attention that at a kennel.
