This facility recently had an incident where a young, healthy, chocolate Lab was killed by another dog while under their care. The dog had been dead for close to two hours when it was discovered so the dogs had obviously been unsupervised. So far the facility has yet to take adequate responsibility. By the way, news travels fast and far. I became aware of this incident last week and I live in the Florida Panhandle. More...

If you love your dog, please run from this place and do not even consider taking your baby to this facility for your boarding and training needs under any circumstances. This is the story of my Great Dane, Buck, who passed away shortly after signing him up at this facility.

My baby boy Buck celebrated his 1 year of life on 03/10/2022, I did much research on boarding and training and saw that this seemed like a nice facility with mostly good reviews and done by the trainer, Karen Stark and supervised by Owner Phil Marr per email and website , but was a different trainer and no where did I see his name. I saw bad reviews, but bypassed these as every boarding I've seen had some bad ones, little did I know my baby would pay with his life. I scheduled a boarding for him to start on 03/13/2022, I dropped him off, healthy, chubby, fully vaccinated, and happy, I provided a 44 pound bag of dog food that normally last 2 to maybe 3 weeks and a medication that was for a sore.

3 days have came by, we're out of town, we get no calls even though the front desk promised me updates and photos. We had to call 3 days in to ask how our little guy was doing to get an answer "he is doing great" *silence* we asked, well how is training going? "It is going good" *silence* we say okay thanks and they hang up. Fast forward to next week with no updates on my boy, 2 days before we pick him up, the manager trainer called me and said "Buck is doing well, but not where we want him to be, we want to keep him another week, free of charge, ofcourse so that he can come home prepared. I TRUSTED the word of this facility. That my boy was in good hands and that was not the case, 3 days later on March 29th, I got a voicemail to advise to me that my puppy wasn't doing well, that he was "good the first half, playing with the dogs; and just now doesn't want to get up and play, can we take him to the vet" of course I say yes and he's sky way an hour out to pick up my baby as they obviously at this point can't be trusted with him.

The vet called me about the conditions of my boy and told me, he was really bad; he had a fever of 106, upper respiratory infection, not breathing well, coughing up mucus and can lead to organ failure. The vet told me that she recommended he be admitted with meds at a 24 hour clinic to be monitored but would cost us thousands of dollars or we can get meds home and monitor him and hope for the best. I made the hard decision and went with home medicate as we don't just have thousands of dollars. As soon as I made it to park cities obedience school, I see my Buck walking inside by 2 ladies, he was so skinny and so sick, this was not the boy I knew when I dropped him off 2 weeks ago, all I saw was skin and bones, I went to grab my boy and they brought me his food, his food was more than a quarter of the bag and by this time he should have had little to none, they never told me to bring any food for him. They thought they were doing me a "favor" by paying for his medical bills at the vet for the medicine and exams, while this all happened under their care. They told me "reach out when he is better so we can continue the training" and I thought, "no way in hell will he be back" I took him home and he wouldn't eat, sleep, play, walk. They told me this happened in a half day time frame and this was the biggest lie I have ever heard, he looked to be sick for some time and I know they wanted to keep him longer after in hopes he got better and he didn't, he got worse, so they finally decided to take him.

I had been giving him his meds and had a follow up schedule a few days out to get him checked up as he was finally eating and drinking he even made progress to the point he wanted to play and nip at my hands like he use to and I tried to get him to sit and stay and he knew nothing.

Little did I know Saturday would be his last day with us, I took him out to potty and he just laid in the dirt and looked at me with tired eyes.He hesitantly got up after I was attempting to guide him back in the house and he plopped on his bed, I attempted to give him a treat as he is usually really quick for those and he just stared at it. On the morning of 4/10/2022 I woke up to find my gentle giant baby deceased.... it crushed not only me, but my entire family. This wasn't just a dog, this was family, we welcomed him into our first new build home to grow with his brothers and sisters( our kids) and he was simply taken away to soon due to negligence and ZERO care for fur babies it is truly heartbreaking. I keep thinking had I been notified sooner of his conditions maybe he would have gotten better, but now I will never know.

I have taken Buck to be cremated so that we can get his ashes and he can still be with us everyday. I will plaster my baby's story out everywhere to know how this facility is and how incompetent they are and do not deserve to care for our babies. I will be partaking legal actions if I do not hear anything back soon and have submitted a abuse to the SPCA of Dallas.

Please be careful and don't take your baby here, my Buck didn't deserve this and had so much life left to live to be cut off so short.

RIP Buck, we love you.

I am now training my second dog here. They really helped me work with my first, and my second was a rescue and had a lot of issues, but after one 6-week class I have seen amazing progress. Kim is great, and very calm with both dogs and humans. More...

Our dog Ollie has been coming here for about a year for day care or boarding. We always feel comfortable with him there and he seems to get along with staff and other dogs. Ollie can be wary of strangers but happily walks off with the Park cities staff when arriving. The flexible hours and last minute booking also help when needed! More...

My dogs love coming here! The staff are always friendly and accommodating, and the hours are convenient. Our favorite place for doggie day care, grooming, and boarding! Both of my dogs are leery of new people, but they are truly excited to see the staff here. On multiple occasions, the staff have actually alerted me to medical issues I had not noticed (!) and helped me get the care I needed for my pups:) More...

I have a pretty difficult dog who loves dogs but is weary with strangers. The people here have been so wonderful at making me feel like my dog is in good hands. I've been using the daycare and boarding services for over a year and highly recommend! Not as flashy as barking hound next door but extremely caring and fairly priced. More...

We love and miss PCOS! We just moved out of state, but we were loyal clients for 1.5 years. Our dog Austin did their 10 day board and train with incredible results. He also attended daycare 2-3 days per week, where he learned how to play nicely and socialize in a healthy manner (we rescued him from the euthanize list due to failing his dog test at the intake shelter.) We will forever be grateful to the staff for their work with Austin! Thank you for your kindness and compassion and execellent customer service. Austin misses his team! More...

Our dogs love Park Cities Obedience School! We have boarded as well as used day play and have had nothing but great experiences. As soon as we get close to Dyer Street the dogs know where they are going, and can't wait to get there. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they truly care about the dogs. We drive approximately 30 minutes from a northern suburb to get to Park Cities Obedience School because we would not want our dogs anywhere else. More...
