This is a late review, but I want to share what a lovely experience I had with Ruth. I haven't found many stylists in the city who can handle Indian hair, but Ruth did a wonderful job! She understood the craziness of my hair and have me exactly the pixie I wanted. Her work is gentle and responsive to your needs, and she makes sure to really understand what you're looking for before she starts on anything. I was really wary of trying out a new salon especially with my curly hair. Â But this place recently opened and I was intrigued and interested by having all natural products instead of the chemicals which were damaging my hair. Â I stopped by simply to see what it was all about and spoke to Ruth who was just delightful. Â Made an appointment and I'm thrilled with what she did. Â The color is gorgeous (I have highlights/low lights) and all the gray is beautifully covered. Â She also added a process that makes my hair much more manageable and even shiny (not easy with my curly hair). Â Ruth is incredibly knowledgeable and a perfectionist (exactly what you want in a hair stylist). Â The cut was also just right. Â I'm thrilled that I took the risk going with someone new (always scary when it comes to your hair) and so happy to make this my new salon. Ok first off, I totally enjoyed this shop! It's so cute and cozy, perfect location right near trains, busses and lots of stores. Ruth the owner was very nice and listened to my concerns, I got a wash and blow with a trim and highlights, my cut looks so sharp and my hair is all bouncy and back to life, my highlights were the exact shade of brown I wanted with no bleach. I'm very happy and recommend this place....only gave 4 stars because I've only been once More...
