Opie's Doggie Playcare & Salon

One of my good friends took her dog to Opie's and while in their care her dog lost a small chunk of her ear. They are trying to blame her other dog who is a puppy. They weren't watching the dogs close enough, don't have cameras, and are refusing to take any responsibility. Accidents happen - a scrape, a bump, a small cut -sure... A CHUNK OF EAR MISSING?? Had a family emergency where my dad was airlifted to hospital in Evansville while I was on my way to see him at our local hospital with my furkids in tow. .booked a pet friendly hotel, but my boy is very vocal and loves to sing (that's my fault because I sing and dance with him at home) .. long story short the hotel was not happy that my Hank Williams Jr was rocking while I was taking care of my pops.. after over 7 hours in the car I was singing the blue too.. I began searching the online reviews in an unknown area.. and fell in love with the set up Opie's offered..it was what we were used to at home.. but could I get both of my fur kids in so that I could take care of my pops.. well thank goodness for modern technology.. my awesome vet and these great ladies here.. I had all the documents to show my kiddos were UTD on EVERYTHING! I love that they asked about my kids personalities.. and fears.. I saw pictures and Mr Chub ans Sissy are smiling and it truly made my life these last few days easier to deal with.. and I could focus on my Pops and stay there with him.. all I can stay they took care of my furkids.. and they mean the world to me.. I would highly recommend these gals! I appreciate everything they have and are doing for me in this crazy hurry up and wait time of my life. More...

Rosie is a rescue & had some leash issues that made me think she wouldn’t tolerate other dogs. After Opies was recommended & our vacation coming up I took her to Opies. The staff was very helpful & reassuring that Roses leash aggression maybe just protect mode. I have been taking her one day a wk on a regular basis to get her familiar with the staff & interacting with other dogs & she loves it & has improved on leash as well. We have found our groove at Opies! More...

With the dangerously high temps we've had this week, my girl Bubbles hasn't had any exercise & was getting cabin fever. We dropped her off for a play date & she's slept ever since she got home. I think she had a good time! Thanks Opie's Doggy Playcare - we'll be back! More...
