Kathy Nelson is an amazing coach. Over the years Kathy helped me build my business and when I got too busy to take a vacation she coached me and I took over a month off one summer. I would have never thought that the struggle and challenges that came from being a new mom, working full time and also trying establish a career would lead to some of the most unforgettable experiences that would ultimately lead to extreme fulfillment and happiness. But if you would have met me a few months ago, you may have picked up that I was bitter, annoyed, on edge, and for a lack of a better phrase, just, a walking b-i-t-c-h. If you don't believe me - just ask my husband! I blame some of this to hormones but also, I was frustrated because I was having a hard time understanding what I was trying to do, accomplish and be.   I didn't have a plan... and for me, this is a big deal.  Don't get me wrong, I can roll with the punches and be fluid, but if I don't have a plan, framework, or foundation to fall back on, then I just go insane.Now that I was married, with a newborn, and no plan for the next 10 years, 20 years... I was anxious and frustrated. I kept trying to make a plan but it just didn't come easy for me like it did when I was in my early twenties. I was determined to get over this darn "funk" and I did.  One of the best decisions I made towards getting help was hiring Kathy as my coach. Kathy, really helped me to identify my values, gain clarity as to what is truly important to me while helping me achieve a realistic balance between all of the components of my life that make up "ME." In clarifying what it is that I want and how I want to get there, she was and has been instrumental in holding me accountable and on track!  I'm sure there are many coaches out there but I personally admire Kathy because of her authenticity and lively spirit!  Kathy is so genuine, fun, wise and professional.  So what was it about Kathy that had me saying "yes?"* Well first of all, she was very fashionable with her bright coral nails, nice sandals and cute hair  but secondly, she kept up with my thoughts and conversation and had brilliant comments to add and provided such wisdom at that initial consult that made me feel a whole lot better automatically.* She also had a plan and was organized in terms of what the next steps would be * There was something about Kathy's energy that told me this was the right thing to doIn working with Kathy a little over 3 months I can finally say that I wake up every single day happy and look forward to the day.  I'm happy with where I'm at and have a clear direction of where I want to go.  My boss's boss even made a comment to me today and said," I just wanted to let you know that I've noticed a shift in you these past 3-4 months and I wanted you to know that others are seeing it as well.  They are providing great feedback on how strategic you're being with clients and you're also very engaged. Just wanted to let you know you're doing a great job!"  I have clarity, purpose and direction now.  And most importantly... I've known Kathy for nearly 20 years and she is one of the best coaches I've ever known. Prior to coaching she was extremely successful as both a salesperson and sales manager. So when she coaches people in the sales arena she has a lot of expertise and track record. In addition, her ability to get to the core blocks that people have in their business and life is exceptional.
