It was my first time looking for colognes in Nordstrom. I'll just say that after my first experience, I'll likely never go anywhere else. I went in at 7:30 p.m. and there was no line and the to go order came out in under 15 minutes. It was my first time trying the Ginger Soy Chicken noodles and it was really tasty. I loved all of the bite size veggies in it, no huge pieces that are awkward to eat. The chicken was also cut up in really small chunks, it was perfectly cooked too. I liked the flavor combo: spicy(very very small amount IMO, the spicier the better for me), salty, with a hint of orange and of course with your traditional Asian sauce flavor. I would definitely get this again. The portion size was plenty, I told myself I'd save some for left overs for lunch tomorrow..oops too good to stop myself I guess! More...

I really do love Nordstrom's, and when I wrote my original review I was a little salty because I had already talked myself into spending a lot of money on some pieces and then the sales person left me mid conversation to help a customer who asked her a question. This was my second time during this trip that a sales person had snubbed me, and the only reason I could imagine is because the majority of their clothing isn't in my size, but that's conjecture. That being said, one sales person was amazing and kind, and most of them were just fine. I have always gone in with the intention of making a buy only to find myself deciding to use the website instead. Im sure some day things will align better there and it really is a great show room of high quality accessories, clothing, and shoes and is up near the top as a high end retailer. I do like coming to this store as it is a. very polished and well maintained, and b. has the typical selection I need when looking for certain items. I like higher end colognes, etc. I've never had issue with any sales associates on my visits as I know the game. I worked retail years ago in a similar type store, and I am familiar with the routine. Very very good! I've never eaten at a nordstrom cafe but I've heard tons of people rave about it. I stopped in for a quick lunch, also not realizing how pricey it was. .. I ordered the salmon salad and it was wonderful! I'm a salmon salad lover and order it every chance I get. This one did not disappoint. My waiter, Miguel, was precious! He immediately introduced himself, asked if I wanted bread, and brought out a hot roll. Once my food was delivered, he continued to check up on me. Not in an annoying way by any means. You guys did great. I do have a suggestion though—folks could lose the RBF. I find Nordy sales people can sometimes roll like a squad, and the customers are part of the background noise to the place where they are hanging out. Gossip, chit chat, phones on the floor. Don't be afraid to eat here because it's in a department store. This has been my family's go-to restaurant every time we come to Kansas City for years. Huge store wide selection of cloths glasses shoes and other odd and ends. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are clean and maintained very well. Ample parking under cover so your car doesnt get to hot and nice place to park to get access to the rest of the mall so you can always find out where you park doors are handicap accessible and temperature was nice not to cold or hot.
