I went here yesterday for the first time for a custom spray tan. I like customer spray tans because you get sprayed by the worker and they can adjust how dark or light you want to be. It is also less terrifying then the machine sprays! It last about 5-6 days if you follow instructions. I had a girl named *NAS* do my spray tan and my friends. She was welcoming, easy going, and helpful throughout the whole process! Of course I was a bit shy being sprayed by a stranger, but she made the process super comfortable. The color also turned out not orange, and very natural. Received a lot of compliments at work. My review is for Natalie. I called in the morning to ask a specific question Natalie said "let me get the answer and I will call you back", and she did. I arrived at the Tanning salon before getting confirmation and Natalie accommodated me. Natalie put me in a  taming bed and when my time was up she answered my question and completed my transaction. This is was excellent customer service, Natalie handled my situation positively and was happy to do so. Very nice, clean salon. All front desk girls are very nice. Erin was very knowledgeable and informative, she explained their specials and monthly deals. Many different level beds. Their hi level bed the Matrix gives off great color. And their monthly price on this bed is definately competitive with other salons. They carry many different lotions. As a phanatical tanner i use mostly hot/tingle lotions. Most salons dont carry those lotions. NST does! Their only downfall FOR ME is they only have 1 high preasure bed. And im sure as busy. I love love love this place. They have the best tanning beds in town or I would say from every place I've been to. The spray tans are awesome too. The color is always perfect and I never look orange or have the build up on the feet, elbows or knees. They do a really good job! Janelle is awesome and does such an amazing job with the spray tans and also very knowledgeable about skin care! Their red light therapy is amazing! My skin has never looked or felt better! And the pricing is very reasonable! I've used the teeth whitening as well and very satisfied with the results. The girls that work there are very knowledgeable and friendly! And did I mention the hours that they are open? You can't beat 7 am to 10 pm! I can go before work or after work! I don't have to rush or worry that they close at 5 like most places do. I have been here several times and have been very pleased. Prior to this I always used a person who came to my home so this was a new experience. The girls are very knowledgeable, and if you have particular requests, or like things done a certain way, they seem to be very accommodating with no attitude! I've had Lily do my spray tan a couple times now and loved it. She was so great and made it a great experience. The first time I met her at a hair salon, but the second time she came to my home. This made it super easy for me and my schedule. The second spray tan was actually for my wedding. It was the perfect shade and I didn't look over-tanned or orange at all. She also answered any questions I had and she gave me her personal # in case I had any additional questions later. She was always super quick to reply which is so refreshing. For the last several years this has been my go to tanning salon. They always have great monthly specials and their prices seem to be better than other places. I prefer to use stand up beds and this location has two, so I've never had to wait for one. I've also noticed that I get quicker and better results here as opposed to other tanning salons I've gone to. The girls who work here are always sweet, knowledgeable, and give great recommendations on lotions based on your preferences and you never feel like they're trying to push you to buy their products. I have been a customer here for at least six years, if not longer. I went on hiatus for a while when i moved up to the Bay Area but I was so happy when I moved back down here to see that this spot was still around and better than ever. They offer a wide array of options for bed tanning, versa or airbrush tanning, body wraps, teeth whitening... I use the matrix which their prices are expensive for but they are so worth it. I love the results I get and the bed is typically available when I call day of. Every girl who works here is such a sweetheart and I have never had a bad experience with any of the staff.Their monthly specials are really what makes them stand out. Love this place and Janelle is awesome. She is helpful, professional, informative, and hilarious. I've had 2 custom spray tans with Janelle and I've also been there a few times for the infared body wrap. The place is clean and comfortable. Custom Spray Tan: I did a lot of exfoliating and moisturizing before I did the second spray tan so I'm not sure if that's why my second spray tan didn't smell as much like tanner as the first. It smells less the second day so I would recommend going the day before whatever event you're preparing for. I've never had a spray tan before this so just a heads up that it does leave light freckle spots on the tops of your hands. Nonetheless, I was complimented by all my friends during the weekend on how naturally tanned I looked. Don't wear anything tight until after you shower it off!Infared Body Wrap: You have your upper legs, upper arms, butt, and mid-section wrapped with these heated silicone-looking wraps. It has different levels for the heat so start lower your first time and work up from there. It will seem ok until the last 15 minutes. Be prepared to sweat. It's nice because they have a TV with Netflix to pass the time. My skin is sensitive and gets these red spots afterwards, but it's a lot less when I wear more layers and it's always gone by the next day. Don't forget to bring a change of clothes! More...

Loved the body wrap!Purchased a Groupon and made the appointment. Online booking was prompted immediately after buying the Groupon. I called to confirm my appointment and apparently, the employee wasn't aware of this service lol, but yes, it worked because she saw me on the schedule :)/Arrived to be greeted by Jannell (sp?). She prepped the heating pads and didn't start me on them until they were fully heated. I appreciated how she wanted me to get the full experience, instead of starting my time while the pads are still heating up. Super ethical business practice! The only suggestion I have is that perhaps next time, the pads can be heated prior to the client's arrival. Since I had an appointment, they knew I was going to be there, so instead of me waiting about 20 min for the pads to fully heat, maybe they could start the heating process 10 min before a client's arrival so the client only has to wait 10 min.I wasn't in a hurry, so I didn't mind. Jannell kept me company and chatted with me about her knowledge on skin care. She was so sweet!The wrap was really great. I told Jannell that I had really bad shoulder/neck pain from stress, and she gave me the option of placing the arm wraps on my neck/shoulder/upper back instead. YES, it worked so well and I felt so relaxed! The last 10 min got really hot, but fight through it!The rooms aren't enclosed as the walls don't touch all the way up to the top. At first, I didn't think i was going to be able to nap, but either because I was so relaxed, or because I was exhausted, I still got a good nap in despite clients walking in and out of the business and chatting it up. I love No Sand Tan. Janelle is amazing - knowledgeable and has a steady hand. I bought a 3 spray tan bundle as I had fall events including piloting it for my wedding. The first formula wasn't the right fit for me and so the second time I went in I asked if she could use another. She did - an organic formula - and it looked natural. No Sand Tan is the best tanning salon that I've ever been. The staff is outstanding, they are very attentive . I'm a Samba Dancer/Show Girl and the custom spray tanning is just so well done, perfect for me to wear my costumes all year long with the perfect glow! I had an excellent experience. It was my first time at No Sand, as well as my first time in the Versa Pro Booth-I highly recommend it! ! It gave consistent and complete coverage, and easy to follow instructions. I chose a level 3 (out of 4) tan and it looks AMAZING! It's been almost a week and my tan is alive and well. Two weeks ago I had the worst experience at a tanning salon by my house. I went to try the mystic machine spray tan for a wedding I had and I had turned orange with uneven color all around. This time around I had learned my lesson so I booked a custom airbrush spray tan with Janelle at No sand tan. All I can say is I found my girl and my place for my spray tans. She did an amazing job and after my spray tan she had explained everything to me so when my color started building up a bit too much I knew after showering it would get lighter. Such a great spot!  I got a Groupon for the body wrap and had a wonderful experience.  This place is very clean, and I appreciate that it's very clear when the beds have been disinfected, because they put a little sign on the beds.  The staff was so welcoming and went above and beyond to pre-heat the beds, bring water, etc.  I think it's mid-range for a tanning salon, I don't know because I don't tan.  But the price for the red light therapy bed is very steep, unfortunately.  The place across the street has the exact same bulbs and they charge a third the price.  Still, the body wrap deal was very affordable, and they have plenty of towels and Netflix to make your 50 minutes comfortable.  And again...so clean!  I don't worry that they don't disinfect their goggles, etc. More...

Came for the first time after finding this place on yelp. Thankful for the late hours! They do get pretty busy so I recommend making an appt. This place seems pretty affordable (after buying on groupon) but I'm not sure how much it costs normally.I came in on a thursday night at 7:30pm (called a week earlier to make my appt) and for some reason the girl at the front seemed confused and wasn't able to find me, which is why I deducted one star. However she was still able to squeeze me in so it was fine, but I had to wait about 20 minutes. I got the Versa spray tan, and I was new to tanning so the girl explained everything to me and she was super friendly and thorough. I didn't feel rushed at all. the tanning was super easy quick. In and out in 10 minutes! The tan was a nice golden brown, not orangey at all. The tan was really nice for maybe the first day, but immediately after I showered (for the first time!) It seemed like the color faded significantly to almost half of what it was. I did everything the lady told me, such as not showering for 8 hrs (I actually waited like 20 hrs) ahha and I didn't scrub or exfoliate, i just gently used body washed and the tan still faded. I still would come back for a quick and easy session if I need a tan just for a few days! More...

OK so hear me out with this one:No Sand Tan USED to be great. I used to come in for the Versa Spray tan as an unlimited member and loved it, mostly because they were affordable AND the staff was awesome. They'd even let me do a combo spray (so like a level 2 and then a level 4 right after for example) for an even, dark and luscious tan. Needless to say, I was hooked. But recently, I went in and asked if I could do the same thing (2 layers) and was just flat. out. denied. I understood and went on my merry way to do just one coat but I just couldn't get over how rude the girl was (I never saw her before...a mixed african american girl?) about it. Like just straight up interrogated me on who did that for me before and was like "no we don't do that. unless you want to pay extra" NOW I get it, I got a groupon this time around for 3 sessions, but honestly it was never a big deal before and I guess NOW it is, but as a employee, --hell, as a human being--you don't need to talk DOWN to someone like that. I'm not asking for special treatment, but understand that it IS how you guys used to do it, (why would I be making this up?!) and now it's apparently not the case. I'm just bummed that she was in a position to help me understand and instead ruined my whole day from her attitude. Sucks too, because I used to refer a bunch of my friends to go here but now I doubt I will anymore just because of her. If I were the business owner, I would want her off my team ASAP.EDIT: So the manager (or owner?)  just reached out to me after this review assuring me that this employee would be spoken to and I'm glad that she took notice, as it shows that she cares about her customers.
