Poor quality. They were provided with instructions of the appliance and they decided not to use them. Their idea of a price break was an over $600 bill. This job left exposed attic space, unit not running at full capacity because of leaks around chimney, the fabrication ruined a chimney sleeve. Also the unit is so low even my children have hit their head on it. Some people will do anything for money...in this case it certainly was not quality. Lacking integrity and they still requested a review. Also the owner spent 2.5 hours looking for a part that I had to find for him on-line: He drove to Home Depot then across to Fresno Ag. The whole time his partner was in my kitchen on his phone. Where is the quality. Where is the integrity. I had drywall done at my house. They had to come back the second time to clean up their mess the first time. They do not clean up very well after their mess. They left all the paper that they used to mask off my drywall, which didn't seem to help because it's still left texture coating in my ceiling and in my garage door. But all the paper they used went into my trashcan. I did not know they did that. I left for the weekend came back to use my trashcan and it is full. Poor workmanship. They pushed for payment and a review after their "completion". They never looked at the directions I sent over (pdf file via email). They also admitted that they did not look at directions after their said completion. I paid them to wing this job and the work shows. One bragged that he used to work for the county. I have no idea why. This unit does not even pull air that well, exposed attic, and not even a clean look. 2 people at 8 hrs. Enough is enough. This is your God honest work and charged For over $600. This was not a well thought out approach, and to just rig something up, without reading the directions(which were provided). Above and beyond!! I had them come and install a mini split unit in an upstairs bedroom. I loved that they were a one stop shop! No need to call an electrician out first to do the wiring, then call the heating and a/c company... they could handle it all. They showed up on time, and were extremely professional. After everything was hooked up the unit did not work. After spending hours trying to troubleshoot the issue with their manufacturer, even doing some internal rewiring of the units themselves, it still didn't work as the unit turned out to be faulty and a replacement one had to be sent out. This was a brand new unit and it was DOA. But My Quality Handyman did everything they could and more to try to troubleshoot the issue so we wouldn't be left hi and dry, or hot and sweaty in this case. This is the kind of customer service you just don't see anymore and my wife and I appreciated everything they did to try to make it work! I mean seriously, rewiring the unit at the request of the manufacturer??? They didn't even hesitate as they wanted to know that they tried everything that they could before having to get a replacement unit. I had multiple projects needed to be repaired. I had a new fence put up on one side and the back, and needed the fence painted with a sealer and stain. John did an awesome job. Our toilet wasn't flushing and was overflowing so I contacted My Quality Handyman. John was extremely nice and fixed the toilet in less than an hour. We haven't had a problem with our toilet since and I have hired him for other jobs, all of which turned out great! We had a fence that wouldn't close and he fixed that in about 20 minutes. What do you love most about your job?
Being the Hero. The opportunity to help someone have an item installed or repaired in their home. I see how much it makes them happy to have a functioning item or repair that is gives me joy for them. The process of repairing or installing something new in a home is fun for me and often not for the customer. So it is a happy thing for them to pay for the service.
What inspired you to start your own business?
As a young man I grew up with a single mom and she often had a list of repairs around the home weekly. So it taught me how to repair and look for solutions to repair broken things. Back then we didn't have YouTube and other online videos to instruct me on how to make a repair or install an item. So I had to use my creative mind to come up with possible ideas for a repair. So in a way it was a puzzle for me that I enjoyed solving.
Why should our clients choose you?
I do what my competitors don't. We answer peoples calls, Text them if we can't answer their call immediately and if one of our tech's is already on the phone, then we call them back, we show up on time and smell good. In addition we look for small repairs we can do for free that perhaps a customer doesn't see and then we point out how we repaired it. This often brings a smile and more confidence that we love their home too.

We can do both. But much prefer to be hands on with see and touching the home project preparation. Not to mention that we can't repair a home over the phone.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We carry masks on our service van's that can be worn while we perform our work. In addition we wash our hands with soap and water and or use hand sanitizer. We are careful about hand shaking and distance, especially if the customer has suggested that we be aware of their concern about Covid 19.
