She never hesitates to undertake a long conversation with me about the best care for my cat, and she also "stays in her lane" by being candid when she doesn't have an answer. I love shopping here! The owner is super sweet and knowledgable and LOVES to be helpful with any questions you may have. I really like supporting local stores and this is by far my favorite place to get anything pet-related. Great selection of food, toys, and treats. And if something is wrong for almost any reason, she takes it back. Once we tried new treats for our dog and they must have spoiled and gotten moldy within maybe 2 days of opening (something must have gone wrong with manufacturing) and as soon as I walked into the store she knew immediately what had happened and offered me cash back on my card! I'm pretty sure that if food you buy "doesn't agree" with your dog, she'll take it back in the original bag with receipt too. Thankfully I haven't had to do that yet, but it's great to know we have that backup. More...

Our pup loved this store! She had a wonderful time sniffing around and she got a doggie snow cone! She loved the toys and bones and even walked out with a snazzy new collar. I LOVE this place. I wouldn't go anywhere else. The owner is so kind, knowledgeable and helpful. She has a great selection of food, treats, supplements and toys. My dog has been having stomach issues and she has spent so much time helping us take care of her and troubleshooting what is wrong. She has been more helpful than my own vet! Highly recommend!!! Still continue to highly recommend this store! I've been living in the neighborhood since November and this store has it all for your cats and dogs. And if they don't, you can always ask and maybe they can have it ordered in. The owner (cannot remember her name for the life of me right now) is always so pleasant and respectful. She even ordered specific flavors of wet food since my cat wouldn't eat any of the others she had in store. The store continues to have good sales and high quality merchandise. I will continue to shop here while I live in Nashville. And another PLUS, they even deliver and have auto ship discounts. My cats both turn 4 this week and I decided to get them a new bed and mutts and meows had the perfect choice!! Thanks for making their birthday even better!! More...

Oh, my goodness! What an amazing store and amazing owner! I had been purchasing a cat food for my diabetic (and bulimic) cat for several years and it worked well but, when the parent company changed hands, it was discontinued. My cat’s health was declining and I didn’t know where to turn. Brianna was so incredibly helpful and provided me with several different options, taking time to outline the details about the pros and cons of each. Her product knowledge was remarkable, as was her willingness and kindness in helping me decide how to best take care of my beloved kitty. No one, including veterinarians, have put as much time and thought into my cat’s health needs as Brianna did. Edgar’s diabetes is now under control and he’s back to being his playful self – and no more bulimia! I cannot recommend Mutts and Meows – or Brianna – highly enough! Five stars plus!! More...

I can't say enough good things about Mutts & Meows! Brianna, the owner, is so knowledgeable about pet nutrition, supplements and health and has helped me find food and products that have incredibly improved my dogs' health. Her store has plenty of choices for many products and she is always willing to take requests if her customers need something she doesn't carry. I love that she supports pet supply companies that have integrity and that are responsible and I know she only puts the best of the best on her shelves. Great place to pick up some dog food, treats, toys, etc. Took my pup here and she loved it. Got her a few different new food options because she's as picky as her mom ; P Found her a small toy and she ended up loving that too. She also usually rips all her rubber toys apart but this is the only one that has stayed together and she hasn't broken the squeaker yet either! That tells me they stick with quality products only. It's not too pricey for what you're getting and it's all great products so you will feel good about what you get. The pup also enjoyed very much the treat I got her from up front, and she also enjoyed the chicken foot the kind lady gave her. A dogs heaven. They also deliver which I thought was a cool service. I wish there were a way to rate this charming pet shop, nestled in the heart of East Nashville, higher on this five star scale. Mutts and Meows is the quintessential spot to pick up everything your pups or kittens need. Brianna, the eager and compassionate owner, is a joy to see on a regular basis. She is kind to my dog, in a way that tells me she truly enjoys working with her. The first thing she asked,as we stepped through her shops glass front door, was "What's your name?"  She wasn't talking to my fiancée and I, but to our sweet shepherd puppy, who had just toddled through the door. Brianna, over the next few weeks, got to know my puppy and came to care for my puppy. She goes above and beyond in every circumstance that arises, from special ordering a product for us that soothes our 13 year old cat to helping out dogs in the community with the East C.A.N. Project, which charitably doles our high quality food to local homeless owners who need nourishment for their pups.  The store is AMAZING and so is Brianna. The prices are great, everything is uber healthy for our furry friends, there are tons of toys to choose from, she offers loyalty programs, she getting ready to expand...I mean, the list goes on! I have an older dog with special dietary restrictions, and I forgot to buy dog food but was commuting by bike. I stopped by to get a bag of food and asked if she could leave it outside if I didn't make it back by closing. She delivered it to my house along with a treat for my two pups!
