Mikayla was incredible to work with! She did my college graduation shoot and made me feel so special. She was so welcoming to me and my friend I brought with me for support. Finishing my senior year in covid times online and not having a ceremony made me so melancholy about the accomplishment, but working with her and having such such a wonderful and fun experience really turned it around for me. She truly reinstalled a sense of pride of all the work I had done over the years. Having these lovely photos to cherish means so much to me and reminds me of such a fun, comfortable session with her which made me feel so celebrated! What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Having an eye for the perfect moment to capture. Always being creative and picturing the photo before even taking. And lighting is everything!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I always want to know their ideas and what kind of photos they are picturing. I love expanding into the client’s mind to have more of a understanding with the client.
What do you love most about your job?
The people. Watching their faces light up when I show them the photos during the shoot and how happy they are post editing. It’s amazing how excited they get!
What inspired you to start your own business?
My passion for taking photos of people. I started out just taking photos of my sister on my iphone! I realized I could turn what I love doing into a career.
Why should our clients choose you?
I not only provide quality photos, but a quality experience. I love making connections and making sure everyone is having a good time! I always like to have fun and just keep a good vibe for everyone involved.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I do wear a mask when clients prefer me to and maintain 6 feet for most of the session!
