OMG THE MOST PERFECT VET!!! First off, it’s like you walked into a beautiful lodge. It’s clean, the staff is friendly, our veterinarian Dr. Gennussa was so awesome with my little guy! They offer a variety of services... and medications are all right there. Best of all? They’re prices are amazing. To get my new adopted puppy all up to date (I wasn’t really sure what all he had in the past... I had no real records from previous owner)... approx $80 with check up!!! Then, they have clinic hours (Thursdays and Saturdays I believe)... a time where you don’t pay the $49 vet check-up, only the price of the vaccine needed. I’m sure this is only for follow up... my point is they don’t try to charge you unnecessary visits if they don’t have to. I thought that was really cool. We needed a quick appointment for a possible abscessed tooth for my Australian Shep. Dr. Gennusa was absolutely delightful and amazing with Bailey. Bailey usually does a really great job with vets but because he's in pain he's not himself, but Dr. G came in talked to him (just like I do) and he was at ease. they are also reasonably priced and I'll be switching Bailey's care to Middletown Vet ASAP. We have been going to Middletown Vet for over 30 years,just that alone says volumes . They have the most compassionate staff from front desk ,techs, grooming,aqua therapy and of course vets. We ve used all of their facilities in some manner and have always loved the dedication and compassion they have for all of my extended family. I live Middletown vet because they are very thorough examining my puppies and cat when I come. They are clean, they are kind and I just love how professional they are. Went to VCA in Newark. Outrageous prices. Co workers said to go to Middletown Vet. Called. Said to bring Stormy in immediately. She had a blockage. 4 month old German Shepherd. They were absolutely fantastic. From the moment I went in till we picked her up. Price was less than I was told.Everyone was amazing. They truly love animals. Dr Wright was great. Incredibly impressed with our first experience at Middletown Veterinary Hospital! Our new puppy was immediately welcomed by tons smiles from the staff at the front desk. The building is absolutely beautiful, large waiting area, & very clean exam rooms. Despite the packed waiting room we were taken back in a timely manor. Our vet tech was very personable and kind. I love this place, I love the care the give to the animals and to their owners. Very professional I give them high regards to the fact that they saved my cat rushs life. I only give them a four because recently I had take both my cat rush and my new kitten to them. My cat rush was having some discofoment, and wasnt meowing right. They proceeded to take blood work and said it might be a perisight and they blatantly told me my kitten did not have worms. They didnt prescribed either cat with dewormer. They said rush was dehydrated and gave him water through IVE. But about a week later rushs meow was still not back to normal and we found that kitten did have worms, cause we had seen them. We go back for dewormer and they give it to me for half off which was nice, and when I gave it to rush his meow came back within a week in a half and I have stopped seeing the worms from the kitten. So I am thankful to them but point blank is the should of gave me dewormer in the first place. More...
