Michael Jackson Dog Training

I've known Mike for a while now, we both worked at Petsmart for a while until Mike left to start his own Dog walking and Training business. The progression Mike's company has gone through is simply amazing. Dog training was the easy part Mike use to tell me and he is absolutely correct. I learned so much from Mike in my time working with him every day so trust me, people, when you read this review, Mike is the man! years and years of experience and still constantly trying to get better. I read the review from the woman (1st reviewer) and I understand why she might believe the money wasn't worth it, however you have to look deeper than money or what you might perceive the issue is. The lady mentioned socialization was her biggest problem and Mike wanted to focus on walking properly and other things she did not think were important. Mike and many other world class trainers believe in structure and confidence when working with dogs, only then will everything else come into place. Socialization is easy when your dog has a role, a strong leader, and confidence which are the basic principle Mike teaches. Another thing E-Collar training is a great tool to use for off-leash activities where you don't have 100% control. I've put an E-collar around my neck and used it on intense settings and it does not hurt one bit ( i would never apply anything that hurts my dog like Shock collars), so I urge you guys to take that woman's review with a grain of salt. I use to be a dog trainer as well and 99.9% of the times dogs don't improve or work out its usually the Pet parents fault, for w.e reason, it might be. When looking for a dog sitter for our honeymoon, we weren't sure who we could trust with our 70+ lbs pit Brooklyn. After finding Michael, from our vet, we were delighted to have found a person that not only cared about him (Brooklyn) but was/is super professional. Brooklyn fell in love with him right away, so much so that a year later after the honeymoon Michael still occasionally walks him. Although it was sometimes an uphill battle during the training, as long as we did EVERYTHING Michael said and stayed consistent, it always worked out. After about a week Brooklyn was a completely different dog, again we had to be very diligent with him. It was able to gave him the structure to listen and think while being distracted on the busy streets of NYC. I highly recommend Michael Jackson dog training for all dogs, it was money well spent.
