What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Taking photographs is more than pushing a button. It's knowing what works and both capturing a moment, and making that moment come to life. Photos should be a reminder, a moment in time. That's what I like to capture, timeless photos that will last.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
With the cost of everything rising, the first thing on a client's mind is usually price. I try to work with my clients as best as possible to work within their budget, but as well as make it beneficial to me. I have 3 children and time is more precious than money, and I love capturing people's walk down the aisle, or a family portrait. However I value the time, dedication and costs that I have put into learning photography and I hope that my clients will feel the same.
What do you love most about your job?
I love photography and capturing moments that my clients may not have realized were even happening and sharing those photos later on. Sometimes especially at a wedding, there is hardly a second for the bride and groom to catch their breath. I love to document their day as a third party, showing them the perspectives that they have missed being caught up in the day.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My love of photography and the desire to work for myself and my clients first and foremost.
