What do you love most about your job?
I love working with clients. This work is my passion. Coaching clients and seeing the transformation that happens is one of the most fulfilling parts of my life. If I won the lottery tomorrow I would still get up and go to work, that’s how much I love it. I get to know and work with the most amazing people. I get to hear their stories of striving, surviving, and overcoming and sometimes I get to be a part of that story.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I opened my own life coaching business because it was important to me to be able to live my truth in my work as well as in my personal life. Every coach approaches this work with their own unique perspective and way of working with clients. It is important to me that I have the ability to meet my client's needs with flexibility and accessibility. Having my own business allows me to better meet the needs of my clients and myself.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am just like many of you. I am building a career doing work that is important to me, being there for my kids, and having a fulfilling relationship with my spouse. I know that it can be difficult to find the balance between everyone's needs and still find time to take care of yourself. I also know how hard it can be to step into the unknown in order to follow your dreams and live your truth. Client's have often told me how that my humor and my "realness" are things that were very helpful for them. I have a profound respect for my clients and I am always impressed by the resources they bring to coaching.
Life Coaching
Life Coaching is for clients who want to improve their lives and achieve their goals. Sometimes goals are concrete and client's need support defining and accomplishing the steps to get there. Sometimes clients know they want to make a change but aren't yet sure which path to take. In either case, having a coach to listen without judgment, without an agenda, and to ask meaningful questions can make a huge difference for many people.
Relationship Coaching
Relationship or Marriage coaching is for clients, such as couples, families, roommates, etc. who want to improve the functioning or quality of their relationships. This frequently involves working on improving communication skills and conflict management. We also often look at clearly identifying and defining everyone's needs in the relationship. This can also apply to workplace relationships where communication, conflict management, and clear boundaries around responsibilities make an important difference.
Dating Coaching
Dating coaching is for clients who want to meet that special someone. For some clients, this means helping them define what kind of someone they are really interested in meeting. For others, it is improving they social engagement strategies so they can get to know people and allow other's to get to know them. Another common theme is looking at why past relationships have failed or letting go so they can move forward.
Career Coaching
Career Coaching is for clients who need to improve their resume or interview skills, are trying to move from having a job to having a career, want to move their career in a new direction, or even want to move to something totally new. We do resume review and mock interviews with feedback to help you feel confident and ready. We often look at past job history, hobbies, and other experiences to help bring clarity to your career path. Having a conversation with someone who can listen without judgment, doesn't have an agenda or stake in your choice, and can ask meaningful questions often make a huge difference for clients.
