What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Lighting. Photography is the art of capturing light. Without it, you wouldn't have a photo. Capturing the best light for the client is the secret to taking a great photograph.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Who is the photo for and what are your intentions with the photos? If it's a headshot for Linkdin for example, who is your ideal company to work for? If it's behind the scenes photos, where are you showing these to and who do you want to see them? If it's product photos, who is your ideal customer? Knowing the intention for the photos, helps me narrow down the over all vision of what the client is looking for.
What do you love most about your job?
I love that every day is not the same; every client and session is unique. I love showing my perspective of what's presented in front of me and sharing that with the world.

There are two sides of photography that every client should be aware of when booking a photo shoot - technical prowess and artistic ability.
Most photographers favor one of these disciplines - but for the best result possible, it's crucial to find someone well-versed in both; a photographer that knows how to use their equipment inside and out, AND has that elusive "eye" for photography that you really can't teach. I hope that upon seeing my gallery, my strengths in both of these areas will shine through, and you will consider me for your next project!
