Came here for lunch a couple days ago and I'm so glad I did! The ambience is great, lots of open seating and tables for big groups or for smaller intimate groups as well. A little overwhelming when you look at the chalkboard menu but they had plenty of printed out menus as well. We went with the hummus salad with chicken breast over it as well as the grilled sweet potato jam sandwich! Highly recommend both items! Will definitely be back. More...

Definitely a place to return to for another tasty menu item. I enjoyed the Molly grilled cheese, so delicious...and the fun and tasty popcorn is a nice touch.

My family and I were in Omaha and decided to try some of the local restaurants. We came up with 2 try and this was the second one. And feelings were a bit mixed I really liked the meatloaf sandwich but I did think it was close to to much salt. But the overall taste and texture was delicious. My wife got the burger special I don't really remember what it was called but I thought it was really good. My wife was less impressed, this could be because we gad a Thanksgiving dinner earlier in the day and she was already on the fuller side. My 2 youngest had a kids PB&J I thought it was good I could tell it wasn't a store bought peanut butter and the bread was not a cheap loaf if bread from the store more like what my grandma made from scratch. I could have used a bit more jelly so I could really tell what it was. My oldest also had had the open pb&j it had a different bread I think it may have been sweeter then the sandwich the other 2 had. The burger had something else for a side then the popcorn that all the rest had. I am still unsure what it was but I liked it. Last but nit least the popcorn served as a side I love popcorn and this did not disappoint me. It is not your standard butter and salt there were many more flavors and I really liked it. I meant to ask what was on it but the kids were wanting to swim. Finally i saw they had homemade ice cream and one flavor was peach pie I had to get it. It was awesome the only thing that disappointed me was how little of it there was for the price half a scoop for $5. It was so good though, eating a peach pie with vanilla ice cream. More...

Any restaurant that serves popcorn as a side is A-OK with me! Normally this particular snack is reserved for the movies, which makes it feel extra special when it comes with a sandwich instead of chips or fries. Lunch time can be a little hectic, but wait your turn in line to order, find a seat and all will be good. Have a beer if you're not responsible the rest of the day, or a house made soda if you are. And if the weather is cooperating, there's that lovely front patio.Healthy midwest portions are served at Kitchen Table, so come ready to chow down or get a to-go box for later. Either way, enjoy the quality ingredients and unique flavor combinations. More...

WOW. I was only in Omaha for the day and the reviews drew me in, and certainly did not disappoint. The Sunday brunch special was great, 3 courses for less than $20 including tip. I started with the Cinnamon Sugar Dirt Bomb (which is not pictured because I ate it too quickly), an amazing doughnut/muffin hybrid. The grits didn't wow me, although the bacon and blue cheese really worked well with the grits. The star of the show for me was the empanada. The pastry was flaky and delicious, and the combo of the filling and the balsamic glaze was next level. Also, the decor is super cute and there are fresh flowers on the table if that's your thing. Personally, I loved the homey yet Instagram-worthy feel. If I'm ever in town again, this stop will definitely be on the list! More...

After seeing many mouth watering photos on Instagram I finally came in with some friends for lunch. The menu is a little hard to read and the items are definitely unique. I settled on a double cheese burger and all of my expectations were met. The burger was perfectly juicy and savory. I wasn't a huge fan of the popcorn but I was very satisfied and full from the burger and that's all the mattered to me. More...

The earthy vibe of this quaint location is so fun! You can refill mason jars with as much water as you desire, while also munching on eclectic popcorn concoctions. Many of the meals come complete with fresh popcorn dusted with a unique mixture of spices. The latest was a barbecue smoky flavor. Recently, I tried the zucchini tomato jam sandwich and fell in love. It was the perfect conglomeration of vegetable, levain, and hummus. Thank you Kitchen Table for serving fresh ingredients in fun ways. More...

Stopped by while passing through Omaha. Nice staff. Really good tea. Got the grilled zucchini sandwich and the veggie hot dog. The zucchini sandwich was amazing but we did not like the hot dog. The texture was strange. The staff was so nice that they right away offered a different option. Good lunch spot. More...

Simple goodness made with local ingredients. A wonderful addition to downtown Omaha, conveniently located a block from Block 16. I tried out Kitchen Table after my wife and I saw the ridiculous lunch line at Block 16. The minimalist design of the interior fits well with the menu. The menu consists primarily of sandwiches, salads, and snacks but it is constantly evolving according to the availability of local ingredients. I had the daily special which was a wagyu beef patty melt. The melt was absolutely delicious but it was greasy. Without the grease it would have been an awesome sandwich. The side of seasoned popcorn was surprisingly appetizing and hit the spot. My wife had the seasonal special which was a BLT. It had wonderfully tasting ingredients but my favorite part was the slightly charred bread which atom the great smoke flavor. This wasn't your run of the mill BLT!Overall I really enjoyed lunch at Kitchen Table and we'll have to make a repeat visit. It was a great alternative to Block 16 during the busy lunch hour. More...

The dill deviled eggs have a secret-the salt is in between the egg white and the filling. I tell you this not to spill any secrets, but so you savor the flavor rather than put salt on top.
