Adam was able to help us with two dogs from our rescue in eastern Washington. Both dogs had different behavior needs and Adam was able to tailor the training to each dog, rather than using a blanket approach. I really appreciated his candor and honesty when giving us updates. I also really felt the "hand off" session was informative for me to understand the dogs' perspective. I can't thank Adam enough for helping out two rescue dogs, who are seeking a forever home. I originally called Katz K9 to get some help with on leash training our 1.5 year old lab. We had an initial consultation with Adam to discuss the different types of training and how he trains. After that we decided the three week boarding would be the best option for us and our dog. Adam was able to provide us a slot within a couple weeks. Adam did a great job keeping us up to date on how the training was going and how our dog was doing. He sent videos and pictures which made the time away much easier. When we picked our dog up, Adam showed us the training and did some training with us so we can continue to reinforce. Our lab went from dragging us on walks to walking beside Adam and us. Even his behavior around the house has improved. It has been amazing to see the improvement in just three weeks. We are so happy we went with Katz K9 and would recommend to anyone! Adam is very good with all of the dogs he works with! He has that great ability to be firm yet gentle so they listen without having to feel nervous. And the dogs love him for it! What do you love most about your job?
Helping families and people learn to communicate with their dogs. Seeing the growth. As well as teaching a skill that can be used in the present and the future if people get more dogs in their lives.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Wanted to help build the community of dog training in the Pacific Northwest. Setting a high standard in animal welfare and training. And wanting to spread my knowledge to future generations.

We keep a clean sanitary facility. We pride ourselves on cleanliness. We do not have large overcrowded spaces that put people at risk.
