I recently went on vacation and needed boarding for my 1 year old German shepherd 🙃. What better idea than to do boarding and training together. I had difficulty with her in public, leash pulling, what I thought was “dog aggression”, and just not knowing when it was time to calm down. Thanks to Justin for providing a solid foundation for Dixie to grow upon. Upon her arrival home post training, she has calmed tremendously and follows command so much better. We sent our lab to Justin and one of the best decisions we ever made! We brought a spunky leash pulling excessive barking puppy. . needless to say 2 weeks later picked up a well mannered trained family member and got him home and has been so great and non stressful. I had a wonderful experience with Justin. He not only trained my pit mix, but taught me how to train her. I I found Justin to be very knowledgeable and caring. We started with 4 sessions in hopes of teaching her some basic obedience and finished with so much more. Due to Multiple Sclerosis, I use a rollator walker when walking outdoors. When I adopted my girl at 6 months old she was unable to heel, so taking her out for daily walks was very difficult for me. Today we can enjoy daily 1 mile walks with her able to walk at my side. She has also learned to stay in her "Place" when needed. I am continuing to work on the skills we were taught and plan to return for further training. Thank you Justin for understanding and accommodating my specific needs.

Investing in your dog is like investing in your future and K9 Trainology and Justin have shown exactly what they represent. A Harvard of dog training Id say! Our 8month puppy (Australian Shepard/Poodle) returned from a 2 week board and train and now knows and follows commands! Im most impressed with her ability to focus now with distraction which was our biggest request to work on. She behaves and stays in place even with our daughter and son jumping around and door bells ringing. She has totally stopped pulling us now and heels and respects all of us in the home. She is my dog- but she is forever different and it has truly caused harmony in the household. Be prepared like any investment- that there is still work and we fully expect this with our pup but to see the dramatic change in her respect and behavior in such a short time is phenomenal. I 100% recommend Justin and this team to anyone looking to seriously see results in their dog. No need to really price check in my opinion- because we did all of that up front and Im realizing just like good health good education good anything- quality will always outweigh and the cost will justify itself. I've tried to ask for an appointment by phone after I had a problem with my tonsils over 4 weeks. I wanted to see a doctor now not nurses according to my condition. They been honest to say they need to follow the prucedures: it means nurse can be again and can be no decent appointment for me. But They've done them Best! Justin took my misbehaved 3 year old German Shepherd/Collie Mix and turned him into a well mannered doggo during the 2 week board and train! Colton's mannerisms, recall skills, and walking on a leash are all MUCH improved! Run by a bunch of incompetent half wits. Going here could seriously damage your health. IF you did your jobs properly in the first place, maybe you wouldn't get so many bad reviews and in closing it has taken you nearly 2 months to read it, i rest my case. just messed up yet again and tried to put the blame on me, outstanding incompetence, it would be easier to train up a bunch of chimpanzees, at least they would get it right.now they have the temerity to send me a warning letter from the head quack for being abusive and warning of possible police action. Well bring it on you village idiot and i will spread you and your incompetent staff all over the local and national press, call yourselves doctors, i wouldn't let you treat an animal, let alone a human being. Justin is excellent to work with. He is very effective and good at explaining training techniques in a way that makes you understand them not only from your stand point, but from your dog's, as well. Prior to training with Justin, we were frustrated and tired of our dog not listening to us. Justin helped us understand that dogs think differently than we do. His teachings have made a huge difference in our dog's behavior and have improved our relationship with our dog because of the better communication. After only one training, we saw improvements in the way our dog responded and listened to us. Justin provided high level training, he is extremely knowledgable and frequently attends training conferences to better his skills and keep his knowledge up-to-date. When I first took my dog, Sterling, to Justin with K9 Trainology, he was practically unable to be walked on a leash. He could not meet other dogs or people without going absolutely insane. After a couple months of training, we're able to walk at a heel indefinitely, he's on his way to mastering all of his basic commands and moving on to some more advanced training. Our dog, Diesel, had troubles growling at people, pulling when on a leash and not obeying basic commands. After picking him back up after our 2 week board and train program, we were so happy with our results and will continue to utilize what Justin has taught us and Diesel. Justin really knows what he’s doing. I’ve seen him work with dogs across the board ranging all the way from a 4lb Yorkie to a 220lb Saint Bernard. He’s taken dogs from easy goers to extreme problem cases and has managed to work wonders with all of them. What’s great is that you can tell Justin genuinely cares about what he does. Justin proves time and time again that he loves helping owners build strong bonds between them and their dog. He works with clients during and after training to ensure that things go smoothly and that the owner’s hopes for their dogs are met. You wouldn’t believe how many people come to K9 Trainology that have already been to another dog trainer and not seen any results. After working with K9, owner’s finally seem to have that sense of peace that they got what they hoped for with dog training. Justin was able to take his own dog from being an aggressive rescue pit bull to one of the most trained dog’s I’ve ever seen. Take the time to meet or talk with Justin, and maybe even his pup Lucy, you’ll realize quickly that it’s worth the time and investment. More...

K9 Trainology Louisville, KY Dog Trainer Shawn Fox 21 points 9 hours ago We sent our 3yr old Rottweiler, Tosen, to K9 Trainology for a 2 week board and train. During that time we asked that Justin work with him on how he approached and behaved around other dogs. Tosen, first of all already knew the basic commands, but had trouble staying focused with distractions. After 2 weeks Tosen returned to us with the same exact issues, and a wound ( Pressure Sores ) on his neck from the improper use of a bark collar. Tosen has never been a nuisance barker, but it seems whatever was going on there bothered him enough to cause him to bark. Tosen has never soiled his bed, he has been house trained since he was 6 mo. old. When we picked Tosen up we were handed his bed that had been pee'd and pooped in, with a very shabby attempt of cleaning. We almost stopped and through it out before we made it home, it smelled so bad. Tosen is home with two other dogs on most days while my wife and I work and has never had an accident in the house since he was house broken at 6 mo. He had to have been pinned up for several hours(10+), to the point he couldn't hold it any longer, for anything like that to happen. In review, K9 Trainology puts up a good façade, but was unable to actually complete anything that was asked of him to do. Plus left us with a nice Vet bill for the care of the wounds on Tosen's neck. My recommendation would be to save your money, and find a trainer that actually can do what they say they can do. I will be glad to forward photos of Tosen's neck, if anyone would like to see what the improper use of a no bark collar can cause. More...
