Julia Billings Coaching & Consulting focuses on working with and supporting women, mothers and famililes. At my coaching practice Motherhood Matters, I offer life & career coaching for mothers (including expecting mothers) who are facing a career transition, such as a downshift or career break to focus on their new role as mothers, finding part-time or flexwork that aligns with newfound values or returning to work after a break for full-time parenting.

As an HR Consultant I support businesses in developing a more equitable workplace, improving employee morale and retention, through review and feedback on HR policies, conducting engagement and satisfaction surveys, interviews and focus groups, offering coaching skills training to managers, women's mentoring and leadership programs and developing family-friendly policies and custom return-to-work coaching programs.

My professional background boasts 7 years of experience as HR professional in international organizations, where I have worked in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, career and leadership development with thousands of employees and (senior) managers from over 130 countries. I am a Co-Active Coach and Certified Professional Coach as well as a facilitator for team retreats, meetings and peer support groups.
