I feel so lucky to have had Jodie as my makeup and hair artist for my wedding last month. From the moment I received her quick response to my initial inquiry, all the way through the hair trial and on the day of the wedding, her unwaivering professionalism and all around delightful personality continued to reinforce that she was the right choice and she quickly made me feel comfortable and earned my complete trust. Throughout the whole process, she listened to what I wanted and patiently talked me through the things I wasn’t sure about. On the day of my wedding, she was the perfect calming presence I needed when the nerves started to creep in and the stress made my head start to spin. I had no doubt that she would follow through with everything we discussed and she truly went above and beyond expectation. I have never felt more beautiful. She brought an assistant with her (because there were so many of us) and they made each and every one of the ladies in the wedding radiate. They were all so happy with how they looked - even my future mother in law, who, the week prior, had fallen and still had a very bruised face on the day of the wedding. Jodie was absolutely amazing! My wedding planner had recommended her and I couldn't be happier that I chose to work with her. We had so much fun at the trial- I asked her to walk me through step by step what she was doing, so it was like a little makeup lesson. She gave me a list of all the products she used too- in case I wanted to get any after the wedding!
Jodie was everything you could wish for on the wedding day- she is warm, calm, and funny. After running around all morning, I sat down with her to start my hair and makeup and instantly felt calm and taken care of! She is exactly the person you want with you on wedding morning!! Jodie is amazing! I am so happy that I chose her (and that she agreed) to be part of my wedding day beauty team! She and her colleague/assistant, Erin, are very talented and helped to make my bridesmaids and me look our very best on my wedding day. We all LOVED our hairstyles and could not have been happier. (I had already asked someone else to do our make-up so Jodie and Erin did our hair. But I have seen her make-up work at a friend's wedding and it is also gorgeous!) A few of my married bridesmaids said that they liked their hair better for my wedding than they did on their own wedding! SO to start off, I am VERY picky when it comes to my appearances for special events. I did a lot of research and took a lot of the time to make a decision on this particular vendor. My experience with Jodie was absolutely wonderful. She is very personable, kind, intelligent and extremely talented. I walked in with a bunch of ideas and had a very indecisive idea of what I wanted for my wedding day. Jodie helped straighten out my vision for both my hair and makeup. Before I saw her on the day of the wedding, my face looked like a mess between dark circles under my eyes and I broke out with acne really bad from the stress. After she finished her work, she made my face look flawless and my hair came out so beautiful. It was what I was looking for and I was beyond impressed. Jodie is darling. She is extremely talented, professional, TRUSTWORTHY, and an excellent communicator. I had a wedding in NH and I'm from the Rocky Mountain region, so I wasn't ready for what the humidity would do to my hair. With less than 30 minutes before I had to appear in front of everyone, I asked Jodie if we could make some last minute changes. She may have been stressed, but she didn't show it -- she asked me what I wanted to do, and she did it without batting an eye.

Jodie is warm, engaging and, most importantly, an expert at make-up application. She runs a very professional operation. She responded quickly to my initial contact and scheduled a trial session within a short time. She was also prompt in all subsequent email interactions. About two weeks before the event, she sent a schedule detailing the planned make-up time for each member of the party. She arrived on time, was well prepared and was flexible enough to adjust her schedule as needed to accommodate the hair stylists. She even packed up her gear went over to the hotel dining room to apply final lipstick to two attendants who didn’t make it back from decorating as expected. Jodie’s skill as a make-up artist is wide ranging. She made those who don’t typically wear much make-up look glowing and natural. In fact, my youngest daughter served as our officiant and several times during the ceremony I noticed how lovely her green eyes looked even though it appeared as if she wasn’t wearing make-up. My other daughter showed Jodie a picture of a more dramatic style of eye shadow and she delivered a look that perfectly matched the picture. Jodi helped make my wedding day absolutely perfect. She was so professional and worked quickly. She did all my bridesmaids' hair and they looked incredible! I was a bridesmaid for one of my best friends and on such a special and important day, Jodie felt like part of the family within about five minutes! She brings a calm and professional aura but is so friendly and warm, and she created an amazing transformation on my hair! After a quick glance at my Pinterest board she was able to conjure up a beautiful natural looking hairstyle. Jodie was recommended to me by a friend and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone. Jodie is so lovely, really kind, organised, friendly and responsive. She gave great advice - I wasn't sure how I wanted my hair and make-up initially but Jodie talked through some ideas with me before my trial so I was able to think about what I wanted. She also did a trial for my mum and my sister (who was a bridesmaid). She had a vast selection of products and ensured she selected the best one for each of us individually. Jodie is one of the most trustworthy make up artists I have had the pleasure of knowing!
She is calm, approachable and understands everything that you want and need. I have used her to do my make up and hair on several evening occasions and at a wedding. The products she uses are high end and if you have sensitive skin (like me!) Jodie will always test products on your skin first to check they are right for you.

Jodie did my wedding make-up along with my bridesmaid's and Mum. She really listened to what we wanted and after the trial really took note of the changes we wanted on the big day and the end result was exactly what I wanted. My mum was particularly nervous as she doesn't wear a lot of make-up but she was thrilled with the results - natural and not overdone. One of the earliest wedding day decisions I made after me and my fiancé got engaged was that I wanted Jodie to do my make-up. Jodie is such a lovely and talented girl and has a natural, creative flair with hair and make-up. I have seen first-hand how she works her magic for all types and styles of special occasions – she always makes her clients look beautiful and the best versions of themselves.
Sadly (but very excitingly!) Jodie moved to the US before my wedding to marry her lovely hubbie and have her own special day and new life in the States. However, Jodie went out of her way to fit in a bridal make up lesson for me before she left. She listened to what I wanted, throughlogy assessed what would work for my skin type/colouring etc. and recommended various products and techniques so I now feel confident in doing my make-up myself on our big day using her very helpful notes and tips but of course I would love it if she were here to do it for me!

Jodie made me look (and feel) a million dollars on my wedding day!

After all the planning and organising the morning of my wedding arrived, along with it a lot of nervous energy… It was always going to be hard for me to relax and hand over my "beauty regime" to another on the most important day of my life, but how daft I was for worrying about that!

From the moment she arrived her cool head and calming influence instantly helped me to relax. I can just remember now the sound of all my bridesmaids giggling in the next room, while we seemed to be in our own serene, calm little bubble. She was an integral part of the bridal team and truly worked her magic by perfectly capturing my requirements and tailoring the whole look to my taste. The finished result was simply beautiful, I could not have been happier!

Jodie did my, my Mum's and my bridesmaids' hair and makeup for my wedding and was absolutely amazing!

She was so responsive from day one. I knew at the trial that she was the perfect person - she understood exactly what I wanted and offered me advice and guidance on how to create the look I was after, and carefully created a look which suited me and the style of my dress.

On the day itself, she was incredible. She had planned the morning perfectly to ensure everyone was ready on time without any rushing or stress.

She was such a lovely person to have around on such an important morning. Her calm, friendly, professional and fun approach was perfect and having not met my bridesmaids before, she was able to create a look each of them were happy with and they all looked absolutely beautiful.

We all received so many compliments about our hair and make-up and I have had a lot of friends asking whether Jodie was available for their wedding days. She will be missed a lot back in the UK!

I'm proud to say I was lucky enough to be Jodie's last wedding in the U.K!
